I found you article to be very interesting, Rosina. I think our thoughts are important, and negative thoughts can be depressing sometimes. We aren't perfect though so thy will happen once in a while even though we stay positive most of the time. I also believe in trusting our gut instinct.

Hi  Rosina. This is a very thought-provoking article and I liked reading both quotes and your analysis. I know you have come to the right conclusion in regard to pursuing your career in computer science (where you excel) and have writing as your side hustle for enjoyment and to make extra money.
    Thank you for sharing, Pamela.

I love the idea behind this article. We need to evaluate all quotations with respect to our lives, even if they come from a famous person or website. The quote may or may not be applicable to our situation.

Thanks for sharing Rosina's article, Pamela.

    Rosina...
Sometimes it happens just like that..we find that A-Ha moment pointing us in the right direction.

They say things happen for a reason, so I suppose you were meant to read that quote by a fellow writer.

Using one's gut feeling does pay off.  It usually stears me in the right direction.

I do try to have a positive mindset, but here lately it has proven to be very difficult.

We have an impending storm that might arrive right before Christmas & quite frankly it has me worried...especially since the project on my road is still going on and I park in the back.

It's hard to not have Negative thoughts...but I'm trying.

I'm happy you've made a decision about your goals & I wish you much success.

Take care & keep writing on the side.

Thank you, Brenda. I sorry to hear of an upcoming storm in your area right before Christmas. Yes, I understand why are so worried on top of the fact that there is a road project is going on and you park in the back. Yes, it appears given the circumstances, you are having a hard time keeping your thoughts positive. Put your faith and trust in God- keep yourself updated about what steps your neighbors or community is taking and work on that. Yes, relying on your gut instinct steers you in the right direction. Thank you for writing such an elaborate comment, explaining your circumstances and cheering me on the other hand. May God bless you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs.

        Thanks Rosina...
It's just me and the furbabies...
It kinda looks like Christmas might have a weather delay....

No problem.   Just keep us safe & warm.

I'm trying to follow my gut on this one & prepare.

Excellent thought provoking article, Rosina. The quotes and your explanation about the importance of mind and gut feeling are food for thought. Many a time, I have only relied on my gut feeling with no rational reason for the same, and it has proved to be correct in hindsight. Thanks for this beautiful article.

Thanks, Pamela, for sharing Rosina's article.

A great and very thought-provoking Hub.  Both of your quotes were good, but I especially liked the emphasis on trusting your gut.  I have always given careful thought and often sought advice about problems I have faced but in the end I both trusted my gut and made a decision.  This is a great Hub and I enjoyed reading and reflecting on it.  Thank for sharing.

    Hello Rosina!
Great thoughtful article, and I liked the idea of using the quotes to emphasise your points. Good analysis— One rule doesn’t apply to all, and it’s always wise to listen to our inner voice, before acting upon something.
Thank you Pamela, for sharing this valuable article, by Rosina.
My good wishes to you both.

    Hi Rosina,

It would seem that the 2nd quote had much more of an influence in how you are going to lead your life.  Sounds like combining your expertise in computers and your love of writing will satisfy financial stability and also make you happy.  Good decision!  Sometimes gut decisions lead one on the right path.  As to staying positive all of the time, we all experience good times and bad.  It is okay to experience genuine feelings as long as we do not get mired in them.  Thanks Pamela for sharing her thoughts with us.
