    Hi friends

My article 'Epiphyllum Oxypetalum or Queen of the Night Flower Health Benefits' failed to be on Discover and instead was placed on HubPages.

    Here's the link to my article:  https://hubpages.com/health/epiphyllum- … h-benefits

Appreciate your comment please on what went wrong on the 'QAP'

    Thank you

    Hi,

There may be a problem with all those links. I see most of them are studies but perhaps they could go at the bottom of the page. Or taken out till the article gets featured.

I would be very wary about making those medicinal claims anyway. Unless you are a qualified expert in such things. Your bio doesn't say so though. Maybe you have used the plant yourself? You don't mention it.

Personally, I would take out the health benefits section (the parts that require you to have expertise) and keep the traditional uses around the world one.

Also, it's not a 'blog post', it's an article. HubPages isn't a blogging platform. And, I suggest you don't use 'we' unless you are referring to yourself and the reader. Just use 'I' because you are a solo writer, not a team of writers.

Every image must be accredited and carry a legal-to-use license unless it is your own. In which case, say so.

Any or all of those things will prevent your article from being featured.

I agree with theraggededge. It’s vital that you include a warning within the article that people shouldn’t make assumptions and should seek a doctor’s opinion. This may not be possible for everyone, but it’s still important that the warning exists  Another problem is that reading scientific journals may not be possible for all readers.

Thanks Alicia. Will review and amend accordingly.

Thank you once again for your invaluable feedback.

I took a section of your article and got 10% plagiarism hits, which is typical for these articles. I would work on rewriting it to make it your own. I have written many of these for clients, so try to keep the promises of healing to a minimum. Most clients like me to use "may," "check with your doctor," or "studies show." Then, I place a disclaimer at the end.

      Hi K. McHugh

I actually had some of your suggestions but probably not 'properly displayed'.

Will rework on them. Thanks for dropping by and for your help.
