Yeah. Yesterday, April 7, 2025, I had well over 1,000 spam/bogus notifications, all of which were in the various forums. I spent the better part of the morning reporting them. I've gotten more today, but just deleted them rather than waste my time looking to see if any of them are from legitimate users I follow.

Matt, can you please implement a filter to prevent unnecessary time spent handling this crap?

They're still here junking up my inbox by the dozens and hundreds. Please do something about this, Matt or I'll have to block HP emails. I really, really don't want to do that.

I clicked "never" for notifications for new forum discussions many years ago.

Huh. The forums are the only place I participate on HP. I quit writing articles/stories with the intent on posting here when the shit hit the fan back in 2020.

I just pop in. I never have notifications enabled.

Then how do you see them? Thru your feed? I never look at my feed.

I land on my stats page and then, when I've finished sobbing, I scroll down to the forum link and see this...

                  https://hubpages.com/forum/hubpages

Edit. I never look at my feed either.

Bev, I do the same thing without the sobbing. The problem with all the spamming is that we might miss a decent post. Not handling the vultures gives the impression that TAG/HP are amateurs.

Huh. I don't see that on my stats page. At this point I'm not even going to bother trying to find it. I'm in a Clark Gable (Gone With the Wind) frame of mind.

These spams are like the heads of Hydra: knock one down and more appear in the feed.

Yeah. Make it stop! Enough is enough! This has been going on for three days now. The spammers are dumping in the forums in blocks of 100. I really don't want to have to block emails from HubPages, but if this continues I don't see what other recourse I have.

I think they will have to wait for the dust to settle from moving articles out of TAG. If HubPages does stay online, they will need to regroup and make some new plans. It would be nice if it stays. I don't think there are any/ many non AI sites like this now.

I’m like Bev, I don’t bother with the feed and switched off email notifications, I navigate to forums via links. It would drive me crazy getting the emails, even before the spam takeover.

I just might have to follow suit. I'm tired of the junk that gets sent to my inbox. Where do you turn off notifications, Paul?

Some people are creating accounts and sending Fan Mails promoting their business. They do not have any articles. I have a couple of followers in the past 10 days.

I think it's profile then notification settings (you need to be on stats page).

I didn't see it there, Paul. Not in settings either.
