Delishably, WeHaveKids, and Letterpile have moved to their new pages, joining the ranks of Owlcation, PetHelpful, DenGarden, and AxleAddict.

I started this thread to serve as a conversation starter. If you notice anything strange (especially in regards to these sites), please post it here, or you can get in touch with me if you want to chat privately. AndreaLawrenceWriting@gmail.com.

The Owlcation change caused a lot of headaches for people.

I'll have to take a look. I have articles on Delishably, and LetterPile. Thanks for the heads up.

Why on Earth hasn't HP sent out a notification of the change?!

These are the changes that were supposed to happen on April 14, 2025 per Haley's official announcement post regarding them taking the last of the niche sites for themselves.

Thank you for posting this discussion thread, Andrea.  I had all of my LetterPile content moved back to Discover months ago and have begun the process of deleting a number of publications.  It will be very interesting to see what happens next with what appears to be an “up their sleeves” move on the part of Arena/TAG. We need to pay attention, especially regarding our content which we deleted or had moved away from those sites/pages.

Yes, I, too, moved back my LetterPile articles to Discover months ago. So, keep an eye on the whatabouts with those changes.

I moved mine as well, at the direction of HP to do so by April 14th in order to keep the ability to earn off our LetterPile works. If they had plans to make LetterPile a stand-alone, why weren't we advised of such?

Frankly, I'm sick of the HP shit we're fed!

Yes, Venka.  We have to be careful and hopeful that our content (paraphrased "derivatives" for example), does not pop up one of their platforms for some strange reason.

      Thanks for posting this, Andrea.

Folks, we have done our complaining, and it hasn't worked. It's time to take action; therefore, be vigilant.

What action are you proposing, Kenna? Pick up our toys and go home?

With that mission accomplished no doubt staff will be released to unfreeze the stuck stats. Oh, silly me, they've been working on it since mid-July. Be fixed "soon."

No, dear. It is a different issue with the statistics. They can't locate which views are real and which are artificial. So, it can take time till they change their entire programming.

These sites are still in a state of change, and I find it interesting they have finally started the process of moving them to the new front end five months later. Many have lost their about us sections while they rework the sites.

In regards to Letterpile, the search function has been removed which will make finding old articles harder for anyone who might have content left on it. This could be a glitch or a purposeful act. PetHelpful did not have a search function for quite some time.

WanderWisdom has a magnifying glass, however it does not send you to a functional search page/bar.

WeHaveKids has a link at the bottom for licensing requests.

"Many have lost their about us sections while they rework the sites."  Yes, and this seems to be an alarming precursor of what will happen next.

        Alarming is an understatement.

An irony, too, given the strong encouragement previously for us to reveal and present ourselves in detail. "For authority."

Absolutely! I believe this means they are preparing to add new staff members, which can only mean, "new" content is coming sooner rather than later. Something similar happened on Owlcation, although if I remember right, it didn't happen until well after several articles had appeared.

Honestly, it's kind of amusing to watch how these sites change over hours/days. WeHaveKids kept the old Q&A section & comments. However, there are several different titles ranging from "Feedback", "Comments", and "Your comments are welcome".

Another update, Delishably is trying out a NEW comment section. It's not Rojo, but similarly to it, one needs to sign up and create a username. I didn't do anything with it, so I'm unsure if comments will go directly at the bottom of the article, however it appears that they would.

I find it intriguing, they kept the Q&A for these stand alone sites considering that feature was removed from our Discover articles.

Thank you for taking the time to notice all those details. I think Delishably is at most risk of having copied articles. They’ll continue to keep mining Discover articles.

Anyone else think Letterpile is an interesting choice for a standalone site?

I hear you. I refuse to play with HP anymore. I'll communicate with y'all in the forums, but HP is no longer my friend so I'll not give it any nourishment (or attention). I made that decision back in 2020 or 2021.

I didn't find any interesting change on LetterPile. There is no Q&A or Comment section over there. Read the articles and post a link on HP Feed for attracting comments and or discussion.
