If you have then you understand the key to social networking in todays
online community. Make it a goal to post in forums, comment and grade your fellow hubber's on their topics. Twitter is an amazing social media device, it allows you to expand your community and somewhat create a platform in which to be heard and "Tweeted."
What I'm saying is that you must put yourself out their in order to maintain structure, and success. You can rely on keywords and titles but why not get it super charged by being affluent in the community and playing a significat roll. Which leads to backlinking, and links in general to your website or hub.
I would add, make it a goal to post meaningfully in forums. By that I mean, participate in discussions, don't just start new threads for the sake of getting noticed.
There are many highly experienced internet entrepreneurs here on HP. When they start a thread offering valuable advice, I listen. When a newbie lobs in and starts stating the obvious - that's less impressive.

I am still pretty much on square one when it comes to backlinking.Other than facebook I have no other sites to really share my hubs on, which makes it hard. I think I'm going to make more hubs and figure out backlinking when I can.How hard was backlinking for you when you first started?
