I Googled, keys to a happy marriage, and discovered that out of the 2.37 million results my hub 5 Keys To A Happy Marriage was on the second page. Ranked 15th overall, that is if I counted correctly.
I know it is not the first page but maybe this is a sign I am getting there.
Darkside, I realized I left out that information on the original post. So I changed the original post.
Well, i have one hub which is in number 2 in google search list among 80 Million search results. The number 1 is also my forum post on the same topic. But nothing exciting cause the topic is a rare one & Im not getting traffic from outside hubpages.
Good work.
Check out the link Ultimate Hubber gave.
I wouldn't be too concerned about ranking highly for that term, perhaps you should try and work the phrase [how to have a happy marriage] into your hub. 880 searches per month, and the estimated average CPC is $1.09. For [keys to a happy marriage] it is $0.05 which pretty much says that there's no advertisers bidding for that keyword.
Hi samboiam, Congrats and keep plugging away at it.
Darkside has given you an important key right here.
Also, here are two hubs that can give an individual more of a boost; one is by darkside the other is Mark Knowles.

Much success to you!
Darkside's hub on Useless Keyword Victories is one of the most important hubs I have read on HubPages. Big "Eureka!" I have posted the link many times for hubbers that I thought could benefit from a "Eureka!" Unfortunately, most of them get insulted and defensive.
I appreciate the help. I finally figured out how to find the CPC for keywords. This is going to be a great help. Thank you again for the help.
Congratulations!!!
BTW the phrase is searched 260 times in a month according to https://adwords.google.com/select/Keywo … gacy=true.
It's great to find out how high you're ranking on Google.
I'm so proud of you, and now I'm headed over there to check out this fab hub. Congrats
Well Done!
It certainly is a step on the pathway to success!
sam-
here something that really looks good . .your latest hub is featured on the front page of Hubpages
That's great! I try to use Proxies to see the actual SERP's, I find that Google uses your search history and alters the rankings.
that's awesome hun. before you know it you will be on page one.

I have been on HubPages for 6 years now, and its been quite an interesting journey to say the least. I am so thrilled, because I noticed I had finally hit 1 million views, something I can't say I anticipated ever really! I am sharing this in part, to encourage people to hang in there,...

I have just been awarded my 1 year accolade here on hubpages and I am gong to create a Hub with the best Hubs for new Hubbers. I already have a few in mind but am looking for suggestions. You are welocme to include your own Hubs or Hubs by other Hubbers which have helped you.

There are tons of hubs on keyword selection and the various tools one could use to make the process easier. But, like most things 'net - they are mostly copies of copies of copies or poorly strewn together theories by intermediate writer-marketers ..So I ask... what was truly masterful, what made...
