Opened my inbox and there it was the email I have been waiting for.
CONGRATULAIONS your hub is a hubnugget winner!
I nearly choked; I ran around the house screaming I am a winner, the kids were screaming the dogs went balistic it was like winning the lottery.
After about 10 minutes I went back and read the email again, hang on what's this "a winner" not "the winner".
Turns out my hub came third, excited but not as much as being the winner.
What a blast!
Congratulations! I think I missed out on that because I was too busy not noticing hub pages in the first few months. Well done!
I got selected for one of my Hubs for Hubnuggets a week or so back, totally unexpected, but nice to be nominated, even better to get a win.
Knew nothing about Hubnuggets, until I logged into email one day and got that message
It really was an honour to be nominated and the fact that people voted for me was a blessing.
Good Job, Aiden...Just having fun with it...is the best part of Hubpages! Congratz on third!
Absolutely not! It's onwards and upwards.
I got top hubnugget one week, and third place another. Now I look at those hubs and cringe.
They were not keyword orientated, they weren't laid out the best way they could be - they showed 'promise' I suppose. that's about the best I could say about them.
In fact I still cringe at some of my hubs - even some of my newer ones. I keep going back and 'improving' them.
Dare say six months from now, I will still be cringing and changing everything.
But hey - if you've ever 'hub-hopped' you will soon see many hubs that are so bad you just KNOW you are doing something right!
Aiden I think your hubs are great the way they are - but what's the betting in six months time you will want to change them a little bit.
