I have two musical questions.  The first one is how do I add a song to my hubs? If I have it on my iPod, can it transfer or does it have to be in the form of a video? If so, where can I go to find it free or cheap?

The next is I have been searching various sites for a country song that I only have a partial lyric for.  I cannot recall the male artist's name or the title of the song and all searches thus far have yeilded nothing.  Is there a site that is hands down better than the others?

I usually go to You Tube and add a video capsule. I can always find what I'm looking for there.

I found the video on you tube but the poster has the embeding disabled and I can't figure out how he got it.....I guess it's back to the drawing board.

When I'm searching for a song by lyrics, I usually just run the lyrics that I remember through a standard search (I tend to use Yahoo! most of the time, searching from the home page).  I always enclose in quotes any words that I am certain belong together.  I can't say that it is hands down the best site, but I can usually check the hits I get on the Yahoo! music page and see if the song is the one I want.

When I get more hits than I can check, I can usually weed out the obviously wrong ones by using the minus sign in the search bar for any words or names that I am sure do not belong in the song I am trying to find.

Where do you usually run a search?

Yahoo or Google but I haven't used it to look for the lyrics, I used it to look for sites that are supposedly great at finding every song ever made. I'll try that......

All I can remember is '.....just a sliver of a moon....." it was a male artist, disappeared from site, cannot remember his name for the life of me. I got his tape back around 1999-2000.  I actually loved the whole tape but the only blasted part of any of them that I remember was that one part of the chorus.  It was kind of a love song.

The other thing I was trying to do was add a Wade Hayes song "How do you sleep at night?" to a hub.  I have the song on my computer and iPod and I found the video but only on youtube.  The guy won't let me know where he got it and he's disabled the embedding so I can't use it.  Can I add just a song? Or does it have to be in the form of a video?

    Here ya go, sugar sug.....

    http://www.amazon.com/Shane-Minor/dp/B0 … a_t_dp_img

SLIVER OF THE MOON is the song and it's the last on the list.

    Here are the lyrics

    Don't think I'm crazy
I know it's not the most romantic thing
    It's cold and cloudy
The moon is just a fingernail up in the sky
But I thought that we could take a walk
    And just enjoy what's there
And if we can't see it all
    Well I don't care (just)

    A sliver of the moon
Or a corner of a star
    A little piece of romance
Keeps our love shining in our hearts
    A twinkle in your eyes
    Or a single firefly
That's all we need to make it right
    Not meteors or northern lights
It only takes a sliver of the moon

    Life's not the movies
Love isn't always like a song
    No we're not perfect
But neither is this world we're living on
So we do the best with what we have
And it's true we don't have much
But somehow we always seem to find enough

    A sliver of the moon
Or a corner of a star
    A little piece of romance
Keeps our love shining in our hearts
    A twinkle in your eyes
    Or a single firefly
That's all we need to make it right
    Not meteors or northern lights
It only takes a sliver of the moon

    We're in the shadows
    And the dark sometimes
But we know somewhere the light still shines
    And somehow we will find

    A sliver of the moon
Or a corner of a star
    A little piece of romance
Keeps our love shining in our hearts
    A twinkle in your eyes
    Or a single firefly
That's all we need to make it right
    Not meteors or northern lights
It only takes a sliver of the moon

Oh, it only takes a sliver of the moon

~bowing~  Your welcome.  I listened to the sound bites on Amazon....that is a really good "album".  I may download it to my iPod....BUT it looks like you can get it cheaper on Amazon through "used" than you can downloading the whole cd off of iTunes.
