   If you need entertainment, consider this.....
   
   My hubby & I haven't had a honeymoon yet.  We were planning one for right about now (been planning it for months).  Then my ex said he wasn't going to come get the kids for the summer and my step dad wasn't up to watching them while we went so we replanned and rerouted to accomodate and additional four (the fifth child is going to disney with his girlfriend and her family).  We were really looking forward to leaving and getting away from all stressors (the business, my parents, the pets, etc.) and were finalizing plans yesterday when my mother decides she is going to come with us.  Yay! 
   So now she is going to micro-manage the trip the whole way, she has already changed our route twice as well as our departure time.  This has become HER show.  So much for the idea of a honeymoon....LOL
   So just think about how AMUSING it's going to be to wonder where we are, how much my mother is driving me crazy, and so on and so forth.  I'm sure you have a great imagination but it may not be up to the task of comparing with this reality! LOL  I'll keep you updated as I can....

            Okay,we are on day 3 of the excursion...so far everybody is still alive! LOL  Despite her attempts, we have (mostly) stuck to our 'wing-it' style of travel though she is a planner and hates to deviate.  Thanks to idiots in DC who will allow the zoo to stay open until 8 but put the animals away and lock up the exhibits at 6 and geniuses at wat-mart who can't do a simple tire roation and balance in under 2 1/2 hours, yesterday was basically a disappointment but life moves on....... at this point, we're planning on taking it easy and expecting the van to 'break down' on our way back.....oops. LOL Mom has actually been more of a help than a hinderance though she has second quessed us and made clear her disapproval at times.  We just let her have her rant and moved on....Today she meets his mother! (This is going to be fun! They're so much alike they are either going to get in trouble together or hate each other!)

               Gee, maybe something entirely positive, like a book and movie will come out of this - if you write it up ala Erma Bombeck you could have a comic masterpiece!  Of course your moms will probably sue for part of the profits!  or for character defamation!  haha  but no, I would not want to be on that trip with you.  I'm wondering how it is that we let ourselves get talked out of the things we want and need - like honeymoons alone - life is always such a power struggle.
