I have joined Hubpages 8 weeks ago and just published 15 hubs. But today I am really happy to see my third accolade: "for writing particularly engaging hubs that people read from start to finish". I got two before for 10 hubs and 1000 viewers, but those were tangible.
I would really appreciate Hubpages staff who have initiated these fantastic inspiring features to keep the writers going. But I am also curious to know who decides these and what are the criteria for these accolades? Is there a hubpages software which is pre-programmed with the necessary criteria or is it done manually by the Hubpages Staff?
Anyways, thank you very very much.
I hope I am posting this in the right forum, if not please notify me.
Congrats on hitting the third accolade so quickly! That's a good one to get, indicates you write well. And this is a great forum to post this. This forum is kind of free for all anyway.

Lately, I have had 11 hubs unfeatured due to Quality Issues. I have assured my hubs do not contain grammatical or spelling errors. I have included relevant video and changed the titles and added new supporting texts and all this to no avail. The HubPages Staff continues to deem my hubs do not...

all the people I see spamming the forums are signing up long enough to post on the forum but aren't writing any hubs. So ... I was thinking. Why not require three hubs from a person before they can post in the forums? They would still be allowed to read to their heart's content, but they would need...

I'm not sure where to post these questions, so I'll post them here and hope they get picked up.I want to know how many people are registered to HubPages, how many hubs get published per day, on average, and how many hubs there are altogether? Does anyone have this information?
