A big welcome to the hub pages family.
why hello there governor. as a new member of hubpages, i think it's only fair to warn you we have kind of a initiation phase ALL HUBBERS must do before participating in forums. (pulls out a big wooden paddle along with over a 100 other people with wooden paddles) now you must pass the trial of the swollen arse! just kidding. we don't have an initiation rule, but welcome to hubpages anyways.
Welcome and enjoy the Hubpage community. The Forums are hoping.

Welcome to this page on hubpages everyone, same to me!The page of Trial and error for earnings but not your writings .As long as everyone realise Hubpages has been the great page to earn almost everything not just in adsense but relationship, frienship, showmanship, but not Titanic ship.(LOL)Truly a nice journey of so many information, stories, experience, comments as well as welcoming and greetings.
Hello!! I am new here just joined. Hope to have plenty of good reading and writing. As a writer I am a non starter, but sure would like to get heard!!!
Welcome Forgetmenot and all you new hubbers! It's an easygoing place here and you have as much time as you have - no deadlines! So enjoy writing and expressing yourself and learning - I know I have. After a year, I can easily say that it was one of the best decisions I've made lately to be a hubber! And believe it or not, all the questions you probably have are answered for you in the Help section and the Learning Center - if you follow the staff's instructions you'll find it easy to get a very professional looking article up in no time. It does pay to take the extra time to read all the tutorials first though, you'll be very glad you did. There are also some excellent hubs about hubbing you can search for. Good luck and Welcome!
Hi mega1. Thanks for your tips and advice. Wow there are lots to learn here before I can walk. I have gone through your writing and I am looking forward to read your 30 years Alone, are all chapters on the hub?
Yes, I guess it will take me a while before I can publish my first hub. I am a non starter when it comes to writing as English is not my first language. However, I do love this language and appreciate it when it is spoken or written with passion.
Hope to see you soon again.
Hi Forgetmenot - Only 11 chapters of Thirty Years are on so far - I'm working on Chapter 12 - I certainly take awhile to finish things - I want the story to be right and I'm sort of inventing it as I go along - this is the experiment and I probably should have finished the whole thing before I started posting it online - but I am having a lot of fun with it. thanks for reading and the nice compliment.
I can't tell by your posts on the forums that English is not your first language - you shouldn't have much trouble with hubs, especially when you are writing about a topic you love. Lots of hubbers are also using English as a second language - we're not a harsh audience here.
Just a word of warning: we all are very friendly people here. I'll repeat:VERY FRIENDLY!

Sometimes the most hilarious hubs are not always the ones that we write, but someone joins hubpages in a matter of hours and they are just waiting to be seen. We have history buffs, professional writers, poets, and the list goes on and on. In the last few hours I have ran across the following new...

I couldn't find a specific place to post a hello to everyone, so I decided to put it here. I hope it isn't in the wrong spot. I also couldn't find anything that said I shouldn't introduce myself in this manner. If I was wrong in the way I went about this, I apologize. My name is Katrina and I just...
