I can't believe that my score has dropped 4 points today and that this 89 is the lowest it has been for over a year!

What's the deal... and don't tell me how irrelevant it is!

I find it interesting that when 5 of my hubs were unpublished by HP (for mistakingly having the wrong link in them yikes ) and I complained to the 'team' about why does it take them 5 Days to Republish a re-submitted hub.... Down goes my score!

What's the Real Deal Huh? hmm  smile

I wouldn't guess about your situation, but I do know that when I've unpublished Hubs on my own there seems to be a drop in HubScore.  Maybe they (or the system) doesn't "like" taking stuff off the site.   hmm  We've heard that scores about what you "bring to the site".  Maybe "taking away from the site" by unpublishing amounts to just that.  I go back and forth between the same 5 point range all the time.

    Yep thanks Lisa...
It's really annoying.. like having squeeky wheel in a new car.. You change the tyres, give it to the mechanics etc and it still squeeks.. but this time at 51 mph.. instead of 30 mph as before!

So yeah.. what to do when you do everything you can to 'participate' and bring traffic to the site (to the best of your knowledge ability).  What happened to people respectfully giving you definative answers huh? hmm

Hm.... I always read the scores backwards, so that would be a 98 in my book!

I just unpublished one hub a couple of days back and went from 93 to 90 so I guess that is the way this works.   It is good to know that I didn't muck up any thing!  smile

my score is always fluctuating as well, plus 5 here, minus 5 here. after looking at your profile and some of your hubs...i don't think you have anything to worry about. after all, people enjoy what you do, and that's all that should matter. you're hubber score will follow suit soon enough

I think the hubscore algorithm was originally designed so well that it came alive, and now it lives just to piss us off.  That's just my opinion though.  Could be wrong.

well I was wondering the same thing.  I've noticed the 100 score hubs, since I've been on anyway, just always seem to stay at 100.  What's up with that?

Are you talking about hubs or hubbers?  I can tell you this, neither my 100 profile score nor my few 100 hub scores stay very long.  They jump up and down like everyone's!

I would imagine they (hubs) are not only bringing views but clicks.
