I would invent a workable model of the man-powered helicopter.  How epic would it be if we could all float on over to work, avoiding traffic and getting a great workout at the same time?

I envision lots of people up in the air, banging into each other, because they don't know how to control the damn thing...much like what happens on the ground. lol

I have the same idea as RFox. I would invent a teleportation device. It would be nice to go from one place to another in a fraction of second without spending so much time getting there.

A solar flux capacitor to custom fit on a bicycle to give that added "punch" and extreme fuel efficiency for those "hard to reach" distances.  Move over Delorean - now there's Schwinn!
