guys i really dont know how i got my self into this site but i wanted to be posting good status update but i found out its some kinda article writing...am i gonna be writing a huge some of it?
Basically you create content, sign up for affiliates and wait for google traffic to make you money.
It does take time, good quality content and willingness to learn new things.
Have a look at the help section for more information.
Let's put it this way: Unless you want to write quite a few rather lengthy articles (500 words or more), you are probably in the wrong place. No, you do not need to put in a website as a reference; if you do have one, you can link to it.
Does this help?
now i have signed in as a member...i have tried to put down something but they tell me to use alphanumeric
Where have you signed in?
Are you talking about affliates such as adsense? For affiliate applications simply use your profile page as your website.
Be aware however, that without content you may get rejected.
About "alphanumeric," could be he is talking about how to create a URL for his first hub.
alphanumeric is just a mix of letters and numbers. Yes, you need to write a lot here if you expect to make any money and you need a lot of patience. I like the place a lot though!
tanx guys i really appreciate i fink i am going further on it. i followed ur advice

So, last night, I was 'tweaking' some of my old hubs for content, keywords, tags, and format. While that happened, I GUESS I didn't paste one of the sections. Now I need to rewrite the content Blah!

Curious: Do you have multiple accounts, because your profile shows 68 hubs. I took a lot of mine and moved them. I let what I have left sit til it goes idle then I take remove it. I have over 80 articles, new ones, that are not published here, but elsewhere. Earnings are less than 2 bucks a month....
