I just used hubpages.com, but I can't get a report at all. It shows no data. Am I using the wrong URL? I hate to think I'm making no money because I set it up wrong. I did what I read to do, put in my number, but then when I went back to modify it, it had the wrong email address and other info, so I just updated that. Could that keep me from getting paid through adsense?
Not for sure on this one, but I think you were supposed to use your profiles URL.
Yes, you are supposed to use hubpages.com as a channel to track adsense impressions of HP. Not setting up a channel correctly can't affect your earnings in any way.
Thank you. So you use your profile URL on what? Google Analytics? I know I was supposed to use it somewhere.
If you want to track your earnings from your profile page then you can add it. But HubPages doesn't display ads on your profile anymore so it would be useless.
Normally profile URL is used to apply for Adsense etc. For analytics, the rules have changed and now you need to enter hubpages.com
thanks for asking this questions i have struggled with this myself and eventually gave up.....
Hi, you get 200 channels in google adsense that you can use to track each hub, if you go to your adsense account, simply add hubpages.com as a 'url channel' and also your 'hubpages profile' url as a 'url channel'. When you publish a hub add that url into adsense as a 'url channel' as well, so you can track the income from each hub.
Make sure you have added your adsense pub-675478392393 code into your hubpages account first.
Into your google analytics account, just add your hubpages profile url to track, it will then begin to track all traffic to your hubs.
Hope this helps you, good luck.
