Amazon says I need to redo most of my products, and I don't know what happened as the codes were there. Is there a fast way to do this? Can you sign in to Amazon once and then go back and forth fixing the problem. Anyone had this issue?
Sometimes the URL of page is changed or product is delete then this problem comes
If you mean on HubPages, Amazon can't "see" the links in HubPages capsules. So the Amazon message means nothing, it's just telling you they can't see the links at their end, which is exactly as it should be.
My Amazon codes have disappeared from some of my hubs. They were there in the past. i asked Amazon to check my links on the hubs that were the problems. They answered that there was a problem when they checked. The codes are not there. I knew there was a problem when I put my mouse over the code area of the tag. They said I need to do it all over again so that my codes are there and that I have not been getting credit if there were any sales. I think it is a lot of extra work to replace all those products.
Just got home from my birthday dinner so have been out of pocket.Any ideas?
You do not place Amazon codes on your hub. You must use a capsule. You cannot put HTML on your hubs, the coding will be stripped.
Actually you can, if you use the "image only" URL from Amazon.
Please make sure you signed up in amazon associates. Then set the affiliates code in hubpages.Once you make the hub add the amazon capsule. Choose the keyword or specific products. Preview the products. Then click the button save.
Do you mean redo your Amazon products here on HubPages? And are they saying your affiliate code is missing or the product code? Did you use HP Amazon capsules?
I did use Amazon capsules and followed all the directiona. On some of my hubs, there are no problems with the codes. I have no idea what happened. I may ask Amazon to fix it, but they probably can't. There probably is no good answer, but thanks. If you need any more info, I will be glad to clarify.
Brakel2, like I said - Amazon CANNOT CHECK HUBPAGES CAPSULES.
If I asked Amazon to check the capsules on my Hubs, they would tell me the same thing, because they simply can't "see" them. The 'checking' mechanism on Amazon can only be used for your own websites. Amazon can't help you with HubPages capsules.
Remember also that HubPages gets a share of Amazon income, so sometimes you won't see your code when you mouse over, because you're looking at HubPages "share".
Thank you Marisa for your help. I still cannot get used to Amazon and the link process, and they said they can check my links. I am sure you are right, so I will forget about the problem or non-problem. You have always been such a helpful person, and I appreciate it.
I'm sure they did, because they're assuming you're getting the links direct from their affiliate site, like 99% of Amazon affiliates do. If you copy and paste the link off their site into your web page, they can check the link. However you can't paste links like that into HubPages.
I know it's confusing! The thing to remember is that nearly all the instructions on Amazon, Adsense and eBay are for people who have their own websites. They don't apply if you're using HubPages. So the best thing to do is follow the instructions in the Learning Centre here
1, Place amazon affiliate code in HP affiliate settings
2. Use Amazon capsule
thats it
i would guess thats covered best in the learning center or at at the aff settings page
for most it is a variation of the sign up email plus the number -20
brakelo-20
or something like that
its in the left hand side of your amazon aff dashboard
edit:
your am links work fine

I will never again use anything but the URL in Amazon. It is amazing the time I am saving by learning to do it this way. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart It is so easy.

Every time I put an Amazon capsule on my articles it gets snipped. I write how it benefits people and how it relates to the article.

Having some issues today with amazon products not showing and just the message "No Amazon Results Found". When I go into edit hub the products are showing in the capsules, and on some of the hubs I've checked, when I finish editing the products will miraculously show up (but not always)....

What is up with this? I can't tell you the number of times I've had to redo, change or entirely delete my amazon capsules because of 'missing products' that aren't really missing. What is the issue here? I'm afraid to look at my hub pages, and afraid to not look at them as well. Your hub ends up...

I wrote a recipe hub and wanted to add some recommended cookbooks at the end. I created an Amazon capsule and selected the cookbooks. When I previewed the capsule, it said "No Amazon products found." I deleted it and tried again, this time letting it use keywords to select products...

http://hubpages.com/my/hubs/stats?categ … ule=AmazonFolks, we really need to make a concerted effort to delete (or at least not display) those Amazon capsules we know to be in violation of QAP.The above link will hopefully help.

Hi,On two of my three published hubs there are two ads for Amazon that were functioning earlier today but now are not. I have closed the capsules and put them in again but that has not worked. I refreshed the pages and that did not work. I also checked to see if there was a notice saying that my...
