I went through a ton of my pictures last week, and reorganized them. Today, while looking for a picture in one of the albums, I spotted a TON that didn't save in the album I told it to go to.

For example, in my 'pets and animals' album, I went through and separated the dog pictures, then I went through those, and made albums for the more commonly used pictures, like 'APBT' and made that an album. Today, a lot of the APBT pictures are still in the 'Dog' album.

      Hi Whitney,

I see 231 photos in your 'Dog' album and 135 photos in 'APBT.' That's a lot of dog photos! I'm glad to see that you're using the album feature, and I'm sorry that it hasn't been working perfectly for you.

It may be that the code doesn't do a good job or reporting to you when there has been an error of some kind (or when our servers are not responding). I will double check the code and make changes as necessary.

I looked at the code, and it appears that you should have gotten an error message if the album change failed to save for any reason. (It might tell you to sign in again if you have signed out, for instance.)  Since I can't reproduce the problem and the code looks ok, the best I can tell you at this point is to please report the problem again if it happens in the future.

It looks like the ones I redid this morning are where they should be, but some of those that I changed last time are still in the original Dog category, not where I moved them.

I will just start moving again.

Fawntia, I probably have more dog pictures in the pets category that I haven't gotten to yet.

Question: Can we delete duplicate pictures without harm to pictures on hubs?

Yes, you can delete duplicate pictures in your album. The photos are not actually removed from our servers, they just no longer appear under the 'My Photos' view.

Great thanks! That will at least cut down the numbers I must sift through

I'm having a problem bringing my photos from my source (my computer) to my current hub.  I've tried three times this eve and I am frustrated.  I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem?

Well, it finally did load up from my file.  I'm not sure what the problem was, but it is set.
