My first hub was a copy paste news on David Vila's first goal in world cup 2010 and I did not know how to create similes those days. I had 4-5 copy paste production back to back all on daily news from newspapers. .
Then, learnt about the TOS and deleted all. Then created few more substandard craps. One of them was sexy world cup fan pictures that brought my 1000 view accolades very quickly and but got flagged soon. Few days later deleted all again.
Left the site for 1-2 months.
Came back and started spamming the forum with stupid posts and created few more sub standard hubs.
2 months had gone and I was nowhere. But I didn't give up. One day I decided to become serious. Started reading about SEO and other necessary staffs. My English was just so below standard that even I could not understand what I was writing. I improved my English and learnt a looooooooooooot about seo, internet using, basic HTML........in a crazy study week. During that month I started to write poems and wrote a lot of those.
From the last month I have been a good hubber at least trying to be. Wrote some hubs that are not at least the worst of the hubs of hubpages. And now I have 50 hubs with most of poems and still I have got 7000+ views for my currently published hubs.
And today I am not ashamed for what I did. I am proud with my self. What will you say?
Saleheensblog,
Wow, you seemed to have a long way! Good for you!
This was meant for me to read. I didn't get serious about writing on hubpages until a month ago and I'm so glad I did.U should do an inspirational hub.
That will be my 99th or 100th hub. I am already planning. Thank you
I won't, I am still a newbie to the internet and I don't have yet acquired the quality to write a hub and whisper,"Yes, I have done it." I want to reach there. After 2/3 month when I will be back in the site I will start from the beginning again.
Admitting to your mistakes and learning from them is a great virtue
Keep doing what you are doing and you will do well here. Good luck!
I'm sure you'll have your Adsense approval soon to boot.
Good job.
I think it speaks volumes that you have not given up. Evrybody has strength and weaknesses. One of your obvious strengths is determination. Determination is one key to long term success which I sincerley wish you. I am new and also struggling to learn all I can. Best of luck to you.
Shuvo way to go... Congrats on your fifty hubs!!
you have learnt so much.. and yeah may be a lot of us need to learn form you.. I have always told you I like your attitude and your desire to learn.. that to me is an awesome quality and there is only one way to go.. Higher and higher. keep on keeping on...
It is great to learn from one another.
While you maintain a positive attitude ,you will succed
We all do things that sometimes in hindsight we wish we hadn't but life is about living and learning. So long as we don't hurt anyone while we learn then all's fine in my opinion. The more mistakes we make the more we should learn and the sooner we make mistakes the sooner we should learn as well.
Keep learning and growing - You're doing impressively well for someone who is writing hubs using English as their second language so you should be very proud of your achievements.
Keep it up and God bless you my friend!
" My English was just so below standard that even I could not understand what I was writing."
Heck, plenty of us go back and read something we wrote and say "Huh???"
Good on you for not giving up!
stick with it..... this is a great community, and so many people are forgiving, and encouraging, well done, and maybe soon i will get around to reading some of your hubs
There's no point or sense in being ashamed of submitting yourself to a learning process.
I keep telling you, your grammar is fine. We all have to proofread, and are shocked and appalled when we later see everything we still let slip through.
You're doing great! And you're an asset to the community. Keep going.
It's a first sign of maturity of character when you can admit your own mistakes and laugh at your own stupidity.
I appreciate your determination. Learner today is an expert in one day. I am also learning every day.
Happy you have seen the light and finding out that playing by the rules is not such a bad thing. Never stop learning Saleheen you will be someones inspiration one day.
Hope all the newbies read this thread and learn from you. Congratulations on your amazing hubbers journey and keep at it, as it is all beginnning to come together for you.
Clearly the begining of success to come Saleheen.
All the best.
aaaaaaaaa, when did this thread come alive again?
Sorry to everyone for the delay to respond.
Today I am the happiest person of hubpages for sure. You people have made me cry.
I will keep learning and this is my promise to you all. Thank you every one for being so kind and supportive to me. Without your help and much appreciation I could not learn anything. Thank you very very much. My soul gratitude to you all.
Well done saleheensblog, I think you have earned a lot of respect here, you are always polite and 50 hubs in five months is good going. I hope you get the adsense approval soon and do as well with it as you deserve too.
Keep writing and smiling.

I have just started, so I dont expect it in the near future, but how many hubs, or how many months before you start making money? How much traffic is considered to be good traffic? Right now I am getting about an average of 75 hits per day on 4 hubs. Is that good? What...

Hi all,I've been here a month now and have 20 hubs, but when I read some of the forum posts I am worried that my traffic is low. I have had around 680 views total for all of my 20 hubs which averages about 6 per day for most of them, on average. I know it takes time to build up traffic and I am...

Did you grow up learning three languages at the same time? My children 6 and 3 are learning English-Spanish and French at the same time. They seem to be coping very well but I would like to hear about people who has done the same.

I joined HubPages just over a week ago, and I have achieved over 200 views. Keeping in mind I have no SEO knowledge whatsoever, and hardly know about keywords, I think this is pretty good, but i may be wrong...Can anyone help me figure this out?

Do you feel rewarded (financially or mentally/emotionally) since you started HP?I've been stressing out about getting my hubs to go through. I would really like to know if you think there's a better future for me out there once I get used to the community and the quality checks....

I just finished my 30dc based only on sales hubs. Why? Because I'd been avoiding them for as long as I could so I thought it was about time to dive in the deep end. Here's some things I learnt:♠ It's the keywords not the content that brings the visitors. (Applies across all hubs however.)♠ You...
