Hey guys, was just wondering how else I can get photos on my hubs.  I followed the instructions listed, but it seems the photos I have are jpg format, not jpeg.  Is there another way to upload photos or am I SOL?  I just started a few days ago so I'm still trying to learn how everything works.  Any tips or advice would be great!

    Here is an idea...

You have the paint program on your computer. Open it, then click open and find your picture, then click on it, so it goes into the paint program.

Once it is inside, then click on Save as .... You can then rename it and give it a new ending name, so you can use the picture. wink

    Btw- Welcome to HubPages! smile

The system accepts .jpg format as well as .gif and .png. You can upload them from within your hubs (photo capsules) while in editing mode, or from My Photos.

Some people use Flickr as a place to upload large images, which leads to compression, and then import them from there.

jpeg and jpg both work. Exactly what problem you are having?

Just open a photo capsule and import [link from internet] or upload [from your PC in jpeg,jpg,png...... format]. Sometimes it takes time. In that case refresh your browser and try again.

Whenever I click save after selecting the photo, it does nothing but go back to "choose a photo" option and I still have a blank profile photo.  Not sure why...

Firefox usually works very well on HubPages, unlike IE. Sometimes there are glitches causing such problems temporarily, so you may want to try again later.

You can report the issue to HubPages, perhaps including a link to this discussion:
