Problem while uploading the photos. After the Upload is done am getting the following error;
"The server is not responding as expected."
Yes, I have had this problem lately as well. I have to upload a few times before it succeeds.
Hopefully this was a glitch. As Simone stated, there was an image upload issue that we addressed a few days ago.
Does the issue persist if you do the following?
1. Logout of HubPages
2. Clear your browser cache
3. Restart the browser and logon to HubPages?
4. Does the issue persist with another web browser?

Now there is no problem, i just uploaded one more pic and tested to see whether the problem still persists or not. It is fine now. Few days back the problem was, sometimes the pic uploads and sometime it doesn't.
Matthew, i use only Google chrome (Not any other browsers).
Encountered the problem when i was in HP only (have not logged out).
When i have encountered that problem, at that time I have not cleared any browser cache. Restart the browser and logon to HP, this also i have not done.

The impression I get is that this was an isolated issues, but I am leaving this thread open so people can post if it crops back up.
I had the same problem yestarday also. Actually, I uploaded one successfully before trying the second one. It failed even after several attempts. I tried remodifying the picture to no avail.
Then i did the most obvious thing most people do, - I gave up and decided to use the one that went through. I have not tried lately to see if it is possible to upload again. Thanks for bringing this up.
I also tried to modify as a start, but that is not the issue..must be a bug of some sort. I think I tried to upload one of my photos like seven times yesterday before it finally went through.
Just tried again uploading a photo. Again the same error.
I have been getting this problem too. The way around it is to log out of hubpages, clear all cookies from your browser and try again. The next time you try the upload usually works.

Yesterday (26-02-13) i had that problem, I uploaded one pic the next 'refused'. Today I managed to upload the one that refused.
I was still having problems as of yesterday. I have not tried it today
Now i have uploaded a pic, Uploaded successfully. But don't know whether that will be fine or not. Its fine sometimes and again sometimes error is repeating.
I too am having the same problem, I went into the photo area of my account and uploaded there and it seemed to work a lot better. Could help you too until this bug is worked out.
I encountered this problem last night... so I logged out of HP, then closed and re-started my browser and logged back in to HP... it worked fine after that and I was able to upload pix.
I saw the same issue last night. Everything seems to be working fine now.

I've tried twice now to upload a video to one of my un-published hubs and each time it's done uploading it throws a javascript error in a pop-up box ending with json/n. I know it's the right file format and within the size limit, so I'm assuming it's an error with the site.

Anyone else having issues uploading photos for their hubs? I uploaded my first photo with zero problems about 10 minutes ago, and now I've tried 4 or 5 times and each time, I get this error message: "Something went wrong trying to upload your image to the server." No instructions about...

I've never had this problem before and have always used Chrome. I try to upload a photo or other image from my saved files and the Hubpages uploader can't do it. This is driving me nuts! Anyone got any answers? Please?? Help....help...

I have repeatedly tried to upload photos directly in hub editing ... unsuccessfully.So then I tried uploading directly to 'photos'. Chose 11 photos but only one uploaded.Yet all photos were taken on the same camera, reduced size using the same process, shared similar names etc.Am I the only one...

I tried to upload pictures for a new hub, but got a white box with an "X" instead of my pictures. I haven't had this problem before. Anyone else have problems on New Year's Day?
