To complete my run of bad luck, last night my house was struck by lightning. It fried my computer as well as my modem. I'm using a borrowed 'net stick which keeps giving me errors half the time and based on the service my ISP gives me, I doubt I'll be getting 'net back for awhile (yes, I wrote a complaint hub about them!). Unfortunately last time they stuffed me up, they also ended up getting me on a different contract which they inform me will be over $200 to cancel. Lovely.
So if you don't see me around for a few weeks (months?), or I don't answer your emails or comments, that's why!
Am also sorry to hear that, you will definitely need to look for an alternative but before that all the best
I am so sorry to hear this! Sending best vibes, hope all things goes back to normal soon. Have a great holidays and take care.
I am so sorry to hear of this latest misfortune. Hope you will be back soon, and without too much grief.
Sorry you have had this happen I hope it gets sorted out soon for you. I hope you and your family enjoy Christmas, the 'little one' will make it special for you, I am sure. they often play with the boxes before the toys Christmas morning.
I hope your hubs make you a whack load of money while you are gone! Will miss you.
Ditto! I just can't see HP without WryLilt.
What a serious bummer.
I do hope things will get better for you - and soon! - and I hope the hubs will earn bundles for you.

Along with your other HP supporters here, I wish you luck - So sorry to hear this happened - and right before the holidays
Hope to see you back soon.
But hey...things may be a bit trying at the moment, but these trials are just a moment in time. You mustn't dwell on what went wrong. Think positively on getting on with the now, and the future. I'm sending positive thoughts your way.
Best of luck, and I'm sure we'll see you very soon. Have yourself a Merry little Christmas...problems notwithstanding.
We will miss your prescence here Wry.
Look on the bright side. You wont have to keep checking your earnings everyday, ( i check every hour ), so when you finally return, you'll see a windfall of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Goodluck and have a great Christmas.
aww Wry sorry to hear about this unfortunate incident, I pray you will be back soon
That sound really unfortunate .. hope everything will be sorted out soon.. Best wishes to you Wry.
So sorry to hear about this! All out of your control and not fun to have to deal with. I hope it all works out soon.
I hope everyone's okay! Wow. I'm really sorry to hear this. Do you have a local library where you can use computers? When my machine is on the fritz, I use theirs-free.
We hope to see you here soon!
That sucks Wry. Hope it all gets worked out very soon, but in the meantime enjoy your holiday vacation!
Sorry to hear that. I would be freaking out.
Don't look at any Amazon/adsense earnings that whole time and then come look back at it in a couple weeks! I always wanted to do that, but I don't have near enough hubs.
Your dark cloud will shift and the sun will shine again! All things happen for a reason. Good comes from unfortunate events and in hindsight you'll look back and smile and realise what lessons you've learnt! Keep smiling and be happy!
Sorry to hear about all your troubles. I'm sure things will turn around soon for you. Have a great Christmas.
That really sucks. Hope things turn around for you faster than you anticipate.
Wrylilt, I'm sorry to hear that. We'll miss you, I hope everything will turn around better for you as well.
Bad Luck is another term of words for 'I don't see it now, but there are some key learning's I will gain from this experience'
Wry, take care of you and the family and get back when you can get back. The fantastic thing is you know your views and earnings will grow without even creating new and exciting hubs.
I'm going to imagine a run of good luck flooding your life so much so your unable to remember the bad.
We'll miss you and look forward to seeing you back soon, like tomorrow.
Take care and hope everything is sorted soon. I am sure the holidays will bring good cheer and the New Year will bring a great run of good fortune!
I might have more hubs than you when you get back at least on this account you have showing. Haha. Thats my goal! So take a little time!
dont you have insurance?
You can use Library Computers ! I know alot people that use librarys. Also Coffee shops got free wifi. i bet you can get another computer cheap on a classifieds site. dont give up.
Your great here.
Sorry to hear we miss you for a while. Anyway happy holidays to you and expecting you will be back here in short time.
Only on for a minute but couldn't miss going on HP of course.
As to library computers, wifi etc, pretty difficult with a one year old daughter who doesn't like to sit still for five minutes and is pretty much with me 24 hours a day when I'm not working.
I'm hoping to get my net back hopefully first week in January, so will see how that goes.
I've been using an internet stick but it's bloody expensive, chewed through $15 in about half an hour of just plain sites, not even videos or big pictures!
Oh Wry, I am so sorry to hear about your run of bad luck.
I hope it gets sorted out soon and you are back writing hubs and dishing out great advice.
In the meantime, your great hubs will still be earning you some $$$$ and hopefully lots of it. How cool is that?
I hope you can find a way to enjoy the break and come back soon refreshed.
Thanks everyone. I'm officially back. Which is very surprising since I was advised by telstra that my 'net would be connected by Friday, meaning they're actually EARLY. I didn't know that was possible for telstra!
I'm still on hubby's crappy old computer though, since mine hasn't been fixed yet.
Great to see you back WryLilt. You must be thankful for small mercies. All good things come to those who wait...
