   To complete my run of bad luck, last night my house was struck by lightning. It fried my computer as well as my modem. I'm using a borrowed 'net stick which keeps giving me errors half the time and based on the service my ISP gives me, I doubt I'll be getting 'net back for awhile (yes, I wrote a complaint hub about them!). Unfortunately last time they stuffed me up, they also ended up getting me on a different contract which they inform me will be over $200 to cancel. Lovely.
   
   So if you don't see me around for a few weeks (months?), or I don't answer your emails or comments, that's why!

   Sorry you have had this happen I hope it gets sorted out soon for you. I hope you and your family enjoy Christmas, the 'little one' will make it special for you, I am sure. they often play with the boxes before the toys Christmas morning.

    But hey...things may be a bit trying at the moment, but these trials are just a moment in time.  You mustn't dwell on what went wrong.  Think positively on getting on with the now, and the future.  I'm sending positive thoughts your way.

    Look on the bright side. You wont have to keep checking your earnings everyday, ( i check every hour ), so when you finally return, you'll see a windfall of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

    dont you have insurance?
    You can use Library Computers ! I know alot people that use librarys. Also Coffee shops got free wifi. i bet you can get another computer cheap on a classifieds site. dont give up.

    Only on for a minute but couldn't miss going on HP of course.
    
    As to library computers, wifi etc, pretty difficult with a one year old daughter who doesn't like to sit still for five minutes and is pretty much with me 24 hours a day when I'm not working.
    
    I'm hoping to get my net back hopefully first week in January, so will see how that goes.
    
    I've been using an internet stick but it's bloody expensive, chewed through $15 in about half an hour of just plain sites, not even videos or big pictures!

    Thanks everyone. I'm officially back. Which is very surprising since I was advised by telstra that my 'net would be connected by Friday, meaning they're actually EARLY. I didn't know that was possible for telstra!
    
    I'm still on hubby's crappy old computer though, since mine hasn't been fixed yet.
