I met the Hubpages team today :)

   Hello from San Fran, I have 7 minutes 42 seconds left until my credit card gets debited another $4.95 for using this pc in my hotel and plus I have had a few JD & cokes, so I will be quick....
   
   I WENT TO HUBPAGES TODAY!!!!!
   
   They were all really cool, I was a bit hangover and arrived after 30 minutes of being completely lost, so I probably didn't come across as the sharpest knife in the kitchen and possibly looked a little worse for wear, I also completely missed the opportunity to grill Paul Deeds on ideas for the site, but hey.... I got a couple of free Hubpages T-shirts and a Hubpages mug (without needing to steal them!).
   
   Hubpages is cool, the Hubpage will come in about a week or so, for now I have my last couple of nights in San Fran and then some chaos in Vegas if I am still alive.
   
   I now have 2 minutes and 57 seconds left on this damn machine, and a Facebook account to check, so... over and out. x

      Apparently there have only been 4 or 5 Hubbers visit the office! I expected it to be more but hey, I can now claim to be the 5th or 6th hubber to visit them!
      
      And yes, great time, extremely excited for vegas... I have eaten far too much though, today is detox day.... salad and water... I need to be able to fit into all the Levi's that I bought in the Levi's store (twice the price in the UK).

   Do not buy chips from anyone except the casino dealers.
   
   Be very nice and be sure to tip the cocktail waitresses; otherwise eye drops could end up in your drinks.
   
   Keep your wallet in your front pocket with a comb inside and a rubber band wrapped around it.
   
   If you are lucky enough to be handed any cash, check the hologram and the security strip.
   
   If going downtown, do not go down any of the side streets.
   
   And, as always, never draw to an inside straight.

       No, but I did assure them that I am not as scary in real life... and they seemed to take that
       
       As I left the street at the end I bumped into Paul Edmondson and had a ten minute convo on the street, that was the best bit!
       
       Its a cool office, not exactly the googleplex but cool nonetheless! I walked away with the sense that the site is in good hands.
       
       It was good to get to know the faces behind the avatars, I can tell you that Paul Edmondson IS really tall, but Maddie Ruud is NOT really short.... at least, not that much shorter than me. More to come with my Hubpage.
       
       Anyway, I'm off to go walk up a tower. Toodle pip.
