I have been leaving comments and messages on users and they wont reply I have added loads of followers and no one seems to notice me....
Am I Invisable............
I am noticing some things that make me not want to follow you:
NO picture
Low score
Only one Hub
Following the highest people
I think if you offer some more interesting and properly researched Hubs people will follow you.
Good Luck
Welcome to the Forums!
Secondly, your account says that you've been here 19 months, which is longer than I have been here.
Third, if you want to make friends and followers, I think it would be best to not lie to people about things that are easily verified.
I only say this because of your Hubtivity shows you've not done anything you've said above. And, if you don't believe me, you can check it out for yourself, by going to your own profile and looking at the bottom, where it lists your activity on Hubpages.

Hubtivity of stephencardiff
* 5 minutes agostephencardiff posted this message to the topic Im new here How do you make friends... on the The Hubber's Hangout Forum
* 32 minutes agostephencardiff is now following Jerilee Wei
* 34 minutes agostephencardiff is now following Patty Inglish, MS
* 47 minutes agostephencardiff published the new hub Is Chocolate Bad For Your Dog49
The above is your activity- so I'll leave you with that.
I don't see any comments or messages that you have left. Are you sure you have left any?
I signed up months ago but im only really starting now and I lied on the fourms to gain attention... And it worked so now I know who the interesting people are... If your quick enough to catch and point me out you must have some good work that your not getting enough views on or you could be spiteful... But also you could be Justifed... Either way I'll find out soon
Hand still stuck in the cookie jar?
You will find that there are quite a few hubbers around that are sharp as tacks and quick on the uptake - you won't get much by them. And no, as a rule they are not spiteful.
I doubt that you will attract the kind of attention you want this way...
True, But I am willing to help show you around. I am relatively new my self, but would be willing to help show you how to push some articles out and make an impact if you want to do so. Stephen Hubpages is like a big family and to some people it is there jobs. Adding people and not putting in any useful information will lead many peop0le to believe you are hear for a reason not stated. Test the water but in the long run I am sure you will choose the right path.
I just read a good hub of yours, and I hope you write more of the same caliber. My advice would be not to lie to fellow hubbers to get attention though, (you shouldn't need to). Also, bear in mind many hubbers here will give sound advice, not because they need attention of their own (you only have to look at their hubber scores and followers to see this), so perhaps it might be wise not to accuse them of 'not getting enough views' or 'being spiteful'.
Generally everyone here is open to helping a hubber who asks for it, so it does seem a bit of a 'slap in the face' if they then find you procured this help under false pretences.
The best way to get attention is to do exactly what you claimed to have done, leave comments, follow people (if you like their work) etc, but also interact nicely on forums, read hubs, write good quality ones yourself, answer 'questions' etc. This way you get positive attention, as opposed to the pretty negative attention you have now gained!!
A shame, I truly loved your latest hub, as it was on a topic close to my heart, the cruelty involved in the culture you described in their treatment of largely domestic pets (although not exclusively) for food or entertainment etc.

I just started writing here a couple of days ago and I really like it so far but I wanna network and connect with more people. How do some people have over 1000 followers, is it because they have been here for awhile or do they just write awesome articles? Also if you could drop any hints on how to...

While I understand that hubbers might occasionally want to share some of their own hubs with their followers, it can be frustrating to see multiple 'old' hubs shared by their owner when looking at the 'feed'. I'd like to suggest that HubPages limits the ability to do this to a certain number...

What's your take on jealousy among hubbers on Hubpages?I published a hub a few days ago. The hubscore started at 66 and has been doing great. Two nights ago the hub went to 91. A hubber left a comment on the hub - "How did you get that many followers?". The hubber did not say anything...

I often receive notification of new followers. Many are scammers, but some are legitimate. My question is: How do new (or even not so new) Hubbers find us? And why do they choose to follow? Some who follow me don't have articles I would normally read. So, why (or are) they reading mine?With...

That's my question. I refresh my Hub "In the Daze" every quarter or so. The old comments from the previous hub are still there. How do I delete them? Sorry to be so dense. Could you help me with this?THNXMarsha
