Has any non-US hubber tried to access the Hubpages Tax Center? I just get a message saying 'you are not authorized to view this page'. Is this normal if you are outside the US?
I didn't even know there was a tax center!
I always assumed that because HubPages didn't pay us directly, there was no need to fill in a tax declaration.
It looks like we should - but I had the same problem, after answering the three security questions I was told I wasn't authorised to view the page.
Maybe the Tax Center has a problem. I was expecting to have to declare I was non-US and then be spared any more of an ordeal. We don't always get what we want.
Since the new ToS has only been previewed today and won't be in effect till the third of March, it's likely that the tax centre won't work till then, either.
I didn't now there was a tax center either. (Somehow, it doesn't sound like a great place to visit, though. ) Maybe it's just me. I live in what's known as "Tax-achusetts".
