Just wanted to share something from my recent Hubhopping adventure:
"Who would've thought which you could earn funds from a web page which makes it possible for you to grow cattle, rant endlessly to mates or post compromising pictures of the ex?"
I don't know about you, but I know that's why I'm here trying to earn some money. Ayup.
Sorry to jump on the correction band wagon but the page is referring to Facebook adverts not Hubpages.
Seems the Algorithm change didn't fix the level of crap - this page has already been indexed.
But it is a badly written (spun?) page.
*Walks off to find compromising pictures of my ex to put on facebook.*
Interesting. Now I see why you couldn't resist.
I hopped for about 5 minutes there. Every hub I read was QUALITY!!
First time for everything, I am quite shocked actually, but the staff are on the ball. (either that or they have effected new filters!)
Enjoy this recent bit of hub-hopping hilarity:
When wearing these shoes, you will get more surprise.
Because it is presumptuous appearance accomplish common.
In one word, these shoes are not only classic, but also stylish which can annotate your characteristics in each aspect.
This is one I just found:
Click Save gym fat drives
A successful mass fat loss, and how can the condition of the program is important you. Many should know have a certain exercise to purchase, and you also know that you the discount and how it is important to train to find if you are comfortable a place your muscles, but many and this will lead, increases their way of life, so that you keep your interest strengthen need.
Priceless! I think you should break out the wood-burning gear and make a huge plaque with that emblazoned on it. At least you'd have a Hubhopping souvenir!
I don't know... I'm comfortable a place my muscles, and how can the condition of the program is extremely important to me.
I don't get what the problem is with such excellence in a Hub....
I've been regularly hub-hopping this week for about an hour at a time and tonight was the worst load of crap I've seen.
Norah and I keep a special document with our favorite nonsense passages from spun Hubs. There are some gems.
I think we should go back to the good old days of hub JACKING!
You'll love this one I just found.......
This is their opening sentence.....
LAW OF THINGS
PLEASE REMEMBER: that this site is paid for by YOU clicking on the adverts next to the text... soooo PLEASE show your appreciation by clickng on a few - it costs you nothing!! Thanks
Whoa.. This one took "having no shame or pride" to the whole new level of "worse than shameless". (I think I may start using the approach of posting "The Law of Things" at the top of everything I ever write - straight and to the point. You gotta admire it. )
(Actually, I just went and did some hopping. Most of the ones I ran into were pretty impressive. )
I'd like to clarify that my "Law of Things" wasn't going to have anything to do with Ad Sense. I was thinking more in terms of "My Laws of All Things in Life According to Me and That You, the Reader, Are Commanded to Follow". It was more this individual's audacity that I found jaw-droppingly, yet oddly enviably, stunning.
LOL......the person who did that has only been here 7 hours.
I have seen some good stuff too tonight. I've just seen more crap than I ususally do for some reason.
Makes one wonder what's in the older Hubs. How do we ferret those out? I mean other than checking out the other hubs of an author when we find a bad one. Usually where there's smoke.....!
Maybe we could have a new feed to find them - hot/best/latest/lowest. ?
The last one being a simple reverse of the best hub which is listed in order of score.
That should root out a few poor hubs for revision/flagging.
The hubscore system does pick up on poor quality hubs.

I started hub hopping tonight after taking a long break from it. I like to be encouraging and usually go light on people, but some of these hubs were so bad that I couldn't help but mark them down. There were about 5 awful ones and just 2 good ones. By then, I had enough and quit reading them. I...

I tell you reality Tv has really gone beyond madness..I was watching this show entitled "Break Point". Its about a 44 year old man who claims to be a complete virgin to the point that he has never even kissed a girl or hugged one (apart from his sister and mum) in his entire life. So he...

Sorry, I can't resist... even if there's not a direct link to a hub, it's probably not a good idea to dedicate a thread to directing people to your latest hub.

Do you think the new Home Page is another form of Hub Hopping?Based on the categories you follow, there are plenty of hubs that appear on the new Home Page. The hubbers you follow may show up somewhere in the midst of these others. Could it be a new form of Hub Hopping?

There was a sudden noise, then I screamed...
