Just wanted to share something from my recent Hubhopping adventure:

"Who would've thought which you could earn funds from a web page which makes it possible for you to grow cattle, rant endlessly to mates or post compromising pictures of the ex?"

I don't know about you, but I know that's why I'm here trying to earn some money. Ayup. smile

Sorry to jump on the correction band wagon but the page is referring to Facebook adverts not Hubpages.

Seems the Algorithm change didn't fix the level of crap - this page has already been indexed.

But it is a badly written (spun?) page.

*Walks off to find compromising pictures of my ex to put on facebook.*

I hopped for about 5 minutes there. Every hub I read was QUALITY!!

First time for everything, I am quite shocked actually, but the staff are on the ball. (either that or they have effected new filters!)

Priceless! I think you should break out the wood-burning gear and make a huge plaque with that emblazoned on it. At least you'd have a Hubhopping souvenir! smile

Whoa..   This one took "having no shame or pride" to the whole new level of "worse than shameless".   hmm   (I think I may start using the approach of posting "The Law of Things" at the top of everything I ever write - straight and to the point.    You gotta admire it.  )

(Actually, I just went and did some hopping.  Most of the ones I ran into were pretty impressive. )

I'd like to clarify that my "Law of Things" wasn't going to have anything to do with Ad Sense.  I was thinking more in terms of "My Laws of All Things in Life According to Me and That You, the Reader, Are Commanded to Follow".   lol    It was more this individual's audacity that I found jaw-droppingly, yet oddly enviably, stunning.   smile

LOL......the person who did that has only been here 7 hours.

I have seen some good stuff too tonight.  I've just seen more crap than I ususally do for some reason.

Makes one wonder what's in the older Hubs.  How do we ferret those out?  I mean other than checking out the other hubs of an author when we find a bad one. Usually where there's smoke.....!

Maybe we could have a new feed to find them   - hot/best/latest/lowest. ?
The last one being a simple reverse of the best hub which is listed  in order of score.
That should root out a few poor hubs for revision/flagging.
The hubscore system does pick up on poor quality hubs.
