if you're a active forum member on Hubpages then you've undoubtedly noticed that two subjects are getting a lot of attention the past month
Which do you think is the most popular?
Religion is older than Politics- but, both are about control of the masses, while being out right deceptive(meaning that as long as the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing then the left hand can get away with murder and never be realized).
But, the subject matter is almost equal with regards to discussion. However, you can really figure out an answer to your question by simply looking at the religious and beliefs posts versus the political posts.
Religion and Beliefs- 4064 topics with 261635 posts
Political- 4534 topics with 174803 posts.
The most popular forum topic which I can recall was...
"Be the last person to post your thought... Jesus didn't die on the cross, but moved to the US to help the democrats maximize their website for SEO"

Why is it when discussing subjects such as Religion or Politics some peopleabsolutely refuse to even listen to the 'other side' of the story? Or better yet some go on rants or tangents and don't listen, even when you agree with their side?
