1. Any "slap" by Google is in direct proportion to the number of hubs you have. For example, in most cases, if you have only a couple of hubs, you got a "love tap" from the Big G. With 755 hubs, I received a full roundhouse punch.
2. It takes for freakin' ever to go through 755 hubs and adjust your Amazon-words ratio. (Fortunately, I didn't have to do many of these.)
3. It takes for freakin' ever to go through 755 hubs and delete the news feeds.
4. It takes for freakin' ever to go through 755 hubs and do general "tweaks" in hopes of making G happy again.
5. When you have 755 hubs, you get accustomed to earning a substantial amount each month from Adsense. Now, not so much. In the past, I was really enjoying the $50 days I was experiencing. Yesterday, I made $1.27 in Adsense - for 755 hubs. Thank goodness the HP ads are helping me recoup at least part of my former earnings.
Someone is trying to purchase some of my hubs, and I've seriously considered selling them. I'm holding out to see if things with Google improve.
and i thought it bad with 122!
luckily my work computer broke down and i cant do anything ......so i caught up on the hubbing
I lost 95% of my adsense income....yesterday was pennies
Ouch, that's a lot of hubs to edit. IMO I would hang onto your hubs. Things will get better, they always do.
I would only sell your hubs if someone wanted to give you around $10,000 for all.
Otherwise you'll be back to making that much or more in a year once things get back to normal.
you said it sister!
Let me help you out.. give me all your hubs and I will go through all the work of fixing them.
Wish I only had 755. Don't hold out. Pick 10 to promote and sell the rest.
So I think everybody had record low earnings yesterday. I made 60 eurocents which was my single worst day since August when I only had a quarter of the hubs I have now.
Anybody know what happened?
Habee, now you understand why people like Nelle have multiple HubPages accounts! I'm finding managing my Hubs a trial even with less than 200 - if I were planning to write a lot more, I think I'd start a new account for each separate niche.
how much approx were they making & how much could they sell for?
oh my Habee.. wait and see sounds good.
I don't ever plan to write that many!
I can't help it. Writing is in my blood. Sometimes I think I have ink in my veins. lol
Drop me a PM. I may have a better venue.
maybe use those writing skills to write a book, or could you compile some sort of book with some of your hubs?
he-he
Seriously speaking - it must be quite a pain. May be this is why I don't publish many? Don't sell them though, the game is not over yet
Mish, you ain't funny, bro! Ruskies have a strange sense of humor...but I loves ya, anyhoo!
Update:
I just checked my Adsense for today, and it's doing much better - not where it was before the Google change, but a heck of a lot better than yesterday! Dare I glimpse a glimmer of hope??
I hear you Habee.
It must be a pain to go through that many. Good luck though.
Well congrats of writing all those hubs!!! But YES I feel your pain when it comes to maintenance, BLEH, good luck!
True, but I'd still have the same number of hubs to sift through. Might be easier if they were organized under different accounts, so I see your point.

Well, I just found out that a project for work fell through because of lack of funding (what else is new? lol). That being said, I am also officially done with my classes for the semester (YAY!) and have TONS of free time on my hands! I have a lot of catching up to do as I haven't published very...

Why is it that I frequently don't get notified of new hubs published by hubbers that I follow?I feel guilty when I stumble upon a hub that has been sitting for days and never received notification for it from HP. I've gone back into my email and double checked on several occasions and they're not...
