I was really ecstatic last month when someone bought a flat-screen TV through one of my hubs. I don't have any hubs about TVs, but apparently someone was reading a hub, clicked through to amazon, and decided to order a TV.
Sadly, they returned the TV this month. My amazon earnings are now in the negatives!
My revenue has been in the tank (not unexpected, since I'm a new hubber AND it is so soon after the google slap). Never thought I'd see a negative number, though!
Returns always hit you when you least need it, and it always seems to be high value items!
Hopefully, the good times will return!
It's a bummer, but I don't earn very much off the amazon hubs, anyway. That sale was just a lucky break - too bad the person who bought the TV decided they didn't like it!
Fortunately most of my hubs are informational, so I earn more off Adsense. Being new, I don't earn that much, but at least it is more reliable than the amazon stuff!

I check my Adsense twice a day and am continually refreshing till Amazon rolls over at the end of the day as well. I've finally reached the point where I might get a sale every second day or so, although no one seems to want to buy more than one or two items (c'mon, someone, go on a shopping...
