That's ipj, Mike!  Sheesh, this IS a writer's site, not a reader's site!  And I don't know either!  Igloo Pajamas??

No, I reviewed one of Lyndre's hubs about growing up in Great Britain, and his profile page says Scotland. For those who believe in reincarnation, who knows where he may be from originally.

It sounds like you've gone viral lol

Wait for a day, then go into My Account, click on your hub, and click Stats. If you then click Day, you should be able to see where all those views originate from.  My guess would be somewhere like Facebook or Digg.

Interesting approach, but I wonder how many are going to actually read your hub (let alone click thru.)

    Congrats on the views.

If however you got lucky with a keyword, and your hub can be found sitting pretty at the top of Google or Bing or Yahoo, then you can expect about 50 hubs on the same topic to emmerge within about two weeks.

In future, it really is best to keep this stuff to yourself, because if it is search engine traffic then this could have been your bread and butter for months.

OK, but it's not April 1st. Traditionally Aprils fools day emmerges at the start of April, it is currently March.

If you read the last sentence of the hub in question, you would all realise just 'why' it has 5000 views in 2 hours.

Ok, I get it now, but it's not April 1 yet, so a little early for April Fool's!

I generated those 5,000 views. I was testing the new Opera browser, which auto refreshes the page every 5 seconds.

Not much point generating 5,000 views from HP alone, you won't get organic clicks that way
