I don't know and I am American, I believe checking the profile of the original write of the thread may answer the question.

I would prefer that HP remain international. Australia, India, Europe, the Philippines, and many more are/will become huge markets.

Besides, the more the merrier. smile

We can see that 75% of the Forum topics are related to USA, and most of the hubbers are amaericans. Hubpages is more popular in states than in other countries..

      What's your point here?
Are you just trying to state a fact, or are you advocating for a separate American-only Hubpages? (I think paradigmsearch may have taken it this way.)

Hubpages for Americans separate, then an international body looking after the rest of the world.

I don't know about that. I think it has more to do with access to the Internet.
America has a large population, so as a developed country that speaks English (sort of!)is Internet savvy, it has a lot of the net covered. Australia with a population of only around 23 million made up about 5% of hubbers last time I looked. That is also high considering the population difference.

I get a pass though, right? I'm Canada adjacent, I've been watching the Leafs since Lanny McDonald first played there and I've eaten at Don Cherry's Grapevine.

Hubpages is a U.S. based company. It does business online.

It's members span the globe, so it's not solely based with American members. There are more Americans talking in the forums than other people from other countries.

There are times during the day where there are more people outside of America on the forums than there are Americans.

So, I guess that would sum up your OP. smile
