I just looked at my Hubpages traffic sources. I noticed something I've never seen before. One of my sources clearly shows -1 for the traffic for the last 24 hours. How can you have negative traffic? Either somebody goes to your site, or they don't. That score is under Google.com.sg.

No body seems to understand... may be a glitch

Maybe if there is no traffic at all they penalize you for it. Other than that, I don't know.
i also found the same -1 traffic in 24 hours a few days ago...but didn't understood what does that means. before that i saw 0 traffic in 24 hours to some of my hubs but never a negative traffic.
I am getting -1 once a day from google.nz. Could it be to do with the new rating system on Google?
Hmmm ... wonder if that has anything to do with it.
Just took a look at my other account, and there's a -1 from google.com.pk. With the way things are going at the moment, we can't really afford minuses ... whatever they have to mean.
Okay, I saw the same thing, I thought it was a glitch, so I just forgot it. Now I'm curious, I hope to get the answer too.
The negative numbers has been going on for a long time, but it is worse now it seems.
With everything going on with Google, it may be time for me to look for better options as others have. This is getting ridiculous.
to see a -1 or any negative count is more depressing than the constant "o" zeros I guess...
Ok I have one from google.com.ph so I'm curious also. Is it possible it is from an examiner or test site that was done twice and so we don't get any hits they do a -1. Just a thought
I hope somebody knows or finds out Thanks
I think it has something to do with how HP counts stats, isn't it a rolling 24 hour period?
It sounds like this is pretty common. It's only a -1, so I'm not going to worry about it. If I start seeing larger numbers though, then I'll begin to question the accuracy.
Thank you for all of the great info. It really helped.
is this possibly part of the Google +1 program, where readers rate article?
i guess I'm lucky to have a zero "0"...
Me too! I just got a -1 from google.co.in. I'm guessing my fans in Indonesia have been neglecting to read my hubs. lol

"Paranoia" must think some of you, and honestly, I used to think the same. I didn't even believe that this was possible, even though Google mentioned that they have ways to detect link spamming. But the reality proved me I was wrong. My Traffic Is Constantly Going DownI did complain a...
