Need advice from my writer friends

    We closed our sign business and I have a new opportunity to reopen in the same location with a similar business and a share of the business. The investor wants to set up a corporate structure with me retaining the majority of the business, and he will provide a operating business with over 3 years of proven track record in exchange for me managing the business.
    It sounds great but I've never got involved with corporate structuring, we were always sole proprietors. Does anyone have any advice or good places to get advice on restructuring a business? We plan to also reopen our sign franchise under the umbrella of the new business.later on.

    I have no experience in this area, but it certainly sounds intriguing. I would suggest that you consult with an attorney, because in a deal like that, the devil's always in the details.
