Very nice.  Congratulations.  smile  If you're like a lot of people you'll probably find yourself paying more and more attention to number of views, as you get closer and closer to that thousand.

It's very exciting. I recently past 5,000 and very close to 6,000. But only one of my hubs is doing all the work. Some of my hubs have not seen any views in days. But, as long as one is doing good, that's all that matters.

I am glad to hear that you are growing in views. It's a piece of good news.

However, I don't think I qualify to answer your post, with regards to getting close to 1000 views, considering I am getting closer to 400,000 views(after deleting over 50 different hubs so far during my activity on HP).

    But, good luck going forward.

But it seems to me that the traffic stats are temporarily stuck - not just stuck in telling us where the traffic originated; but stuck, period. Is this true for others?

It seems to come in fits and spurts.

I had 4 comments on a hub with "0" views the other day.

It seems HP is having more and more small problems every day. Very strange.

Only 3 lil hubs in my time here so far but got my 1000 Views Accolade a few days ago - Not sure whether that's good, bad or average but it was satisfying to see it pop up on my profile page.Good luck crossing that line Travis, shouln't be long now.

well done to all of you- it is so exciting when you hit a milestone, but honestly in a few months you could be getting that every month and even every week - pre panda a lot more ( some people get that daily). Dont be disheartened as it sort of creeps up on you. This time last year I was just over 1000, then I hit the 10,000 and am well on my way to the 100,000 accolade, though my readership has reduced by 40 per cent owing to panda, it is still there and still notching those views up- I can still remember having one view and then a comment - wow!

The moral of this is , read as well as write and if you can add a comment that adds value or just appreciates a good peice of writing then do it. We all need encouragement

Of course (: I would expect this to happen. The only thing is, I honestly don't expect my views to get up there really. Simply because I don't put much time or effort into this anymore. I also do not bother with linking on other forums/blogs or any of the sort. The views I get are generally strictly from here. I have yet to get over 800 still haha. Who knows, maybe someday I'll write more and actually work harder on this. I did when I first started. But as with everything I do, I get bored easily and distracted and find other things to entertain myself until that gets boring, then I either find something new or fall back on past things.
