Just returned from a great Florida vacation. What did I miss??
Check out the redfish my son-in-law landed from the dock in our back yard (in my avatar photo). It was delicious!
Cool. I love fishing. Not sure what you missed though as I just pop in now and again...
Im back also from a 3 month vacation courtesy of hubpages.
Hahaha - I take it you mean HP paid for you to travel the country, maybe out to the offices in SF, and then write a whole bunch of Hubs about it? (Not) Hahahaha
I get it. I get what you really meant. Nice to see a sense of humor, and welcome back. Let's see how long you stick around.
I wonder if aliens come to Earth, abduct one of us, take a photo before eating, then go back to their homeworld and use the photo in the same way.
Sure! Haven't you seen Predator? I think he/it used the skins as trophies, but I find that photos are less messy.
An interesting thought, but one that had not crossed my mind before.
Welcome home Habee!
Hope you had a great holiday Habee. Welcome back
Well...Randy Godwin was elected emperor of HubPages...
I think this is http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/78912 the hottest topic right now.
Woohoo! Welcome back, habee! How much did you catch, and how many Hubs will you make out of your catch? (Or do you write about them on your food site?)
Everybody's holding their breath here to hear how the subdomain change is affecting everyone else's traffic. Have you made the change yet?
The vaca was awesome! Nothing like fresh seafood you catch yourself: redfish, trout, flounder, snapper, crabs, etc. We also had turquoise water, white sand, and great weather! Unfortunately, my youngest daughter and her family are now stranded just north of Tampa, in a broken-down car.
Welcome back Habee - I see you had to take someone with you to actually get a fish caught, but whatever gets it done . . . .
Only you could take a vacation and come back to still having an author score of 100. lol Welcome back!
Glad your back and you had a great time Habee! It's been damn hot down here so I'm sure you got lots of sunburns.
I've never been out where you went, I'll have to get out there someday.
There is a TB area that people can go to? Tsk! People with TB should be isolated!
PS Welcome back Habee. I hope you weren't in a TB area!
<whew!> Was worried for a minute or so!
Us non-US people need to learn the shortcuts for places
oops, sorry... actually I don't think anyone around here calls it TB, but I didn't feel like typing it out. Tampa Bay is a huge metropolitan area on the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay (a harbor and estuary), including 3 major cities, Tampa, St.Petersburg and Clearwater. It also extends north and south with the suburbs.
Thanks for that! It's amazing how many places you have heard about, yet actually know nothing at all about.
yeah Tampa Bay, Florida, sounds exotic, but its nothing more than a place-name until someone like yourself takes the time to explain further.

Hello fellow Hubbers,I don't know if this is the correct place to introduce myself. There was no introduce yourself page. Hopefully i'm not violating any rules. I joined today so completely new to the forum. I have already posted two hubs and waiting on them being verified. What I was wondering was...

Things have started to settle a little after my Father's death and I'm now settling back into my HubPages duties - although it's unlikely I'll be doing much cheerleading here in the HubChallenge as cheering people on and motivation aren't sitting quite right with me yet...I'm embarking on my own 30...

I'm new to hubpages but it seems discouraging for me seeing status that read like saying goodbye to hubpages. I was just starting and some are already leaving. omg...O_OSo what's really making you stop writing? Have you lost your desire? Or is it the decline in traffic? Give me some clue please..
