Just returned from a great Florida vacation. What did I miss??

Check out the redfish my son-in-law landed from the dock in our back yard (in my avatar photo). It was delicious!

Hahaha - I take it you mean HP paid for you to travel the country, maybe out to the offices in SF, and then write a whole bunch of Hubs about it?  (Not) Hahahaha

I get it. I get what you really meant. Nice to see a sense of humor, and welcome back.  Let's see how long you stick around.  big_smile

I wonder if aliens come to Earth, abduct one of us, take a photo before eating, then go back to their homeworld and use the photo in the same way.

Sure! Haven't you seen Predator? I think he/it used the skins as trophies, but I find that photos are less messy.

Woohoo!  Welcome back, habee!  How much did you catch, and how many Hubs will you make out of your catch? lol (Or do you write about them on your food site?)

Everybody's holding their breath here to hear how the subdomain change is affecting everyone else's traffic.  Have you made the change yet?

    1. habee profile image93
habeeposted 12 years agoin reply to this

Haven't made the change. I haven't read up on it yet.

The fish recipes are mostly going on my food site, and the fishing/crabbing techniques are going on my fishing blog!

The vaca was awesome! Nothing like fresh seafood you catch yourself: redfish, trout, flounder, snapper, crabs, etc. We also had turquoise water, white sand, and great weather! Unfortunately, my youngest daughter and her family are now stranded just north of Tampa, in a broken-down car.

There is a TB area that people can go to? Tsk! People with TB should be isolated!

PS Welcome back Habee. I hope you weren't in a TB area!

<whew!> Was worried for a minute or so!

oops, sorry... actually I don't think anyone around here calls it TB, but I didn't feel like typing it out. Tampa Bay is a huge metropolitan area on the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay (a harbor and estuary), including 3 major cities, Tampa, St.Petersburg and Clearwater. It also extends north and south with the suburbs. smile

Thanks for that! It's amazing how many places you have heard about, yet actually know nothing at all about.

yeah Tampa Bay, Florida, sounds exotic, but its nothing more than a place-name until someone like yourself takes the time to explain further.

It does have an exotic feeling here. I have a couple of hubs about it if you're ever in the mood to know more and see some pics. I love it. It's home. smile
