I was moderated, and correctly so, for being overly promotional. I did not include enough links to general resources and used too many of my own. I have made the changes necessary (so I think) and want to talk to the administrator so they know I made changes to other hugs as to not make the same mistake. I genuinely want to make my hubs really good resources and will not publish poorly again. How can I explain this to them? I can not find a email contact anywhere?
Also, I am a little worried now about adding any link to my home website and also about adding Amazon books and such. If any of you can look at any of my hubs and give me suggestions for what else I can add of my own work I'd be very grateful! Ty.
thank you just what I needed! are there any suggestions for my hubs that you have?
If you need your hubs to be critiqued or you are looking for suggestions to improve your hubs post them on the extreme makeover forum where you can put links to 2-3 of your hubs and you will have experienced hubbers telling you what you need to do.
I think you are doing fine. Just keep your links down to two links per site and try to mix it up. Just about everyone gets moderated from time to time.
Visit the Learning Center. Many of your questions can be answered there and if you need, you can also use the search feature on the forums and Hubs, to find either forums posts of questions asked and answered, or Hubs written specifically to answer certain questions.

I find it hilarious that Hubpages pushes the concept of helping new Hubbers yet my Hub which has had very good reception by the community has been flagged for being both overly promotional and substandard.I had 5 social bookmarking links, and 2 other links to free tools absolutely related to the...

I have just found that a 3 day old hub has been moderated as substandard and I am having difficulty understanding what needs to be addressed.None (in my view) of the 'common reasons' for moderation seem to fit.I have read the FAQ and Maddies hub about the issue but none of this helps. Before I...

Hey Staff,I'm sorry, but this is a bit sad. The inconsistency with moderation and flagging of hubs is getting ridiculous. Please teach your moderators what is actually provocative. It is unacceptable that a picture that shows a little skin is being flagged by the moderation team.I have a number of...

I have been on hubpages for some time now, not been the most active on forums, not among the big money makers too, but I guess I have the right to complain about something I am not comfortable with. For the past 2-3 months, a lot of my hubs are going into moderation and I cant really find the fix....

Unmoderating commentsI know this may sound like something I should know, but I don't know how to allow comments without approving them. I don't want people to think I'm not open to criticism when they comment on my hubs. So how do I allow people to comment without approval?

I'm stymied and mystified by the moderators deleting my question:"Calling all atheists and agnostics - do any of you hate Christians?" which was an opposite question as a rebuttal to: "Calling all Christians. Do any of you hate atheists?"I reported the "Christian"...
