I published a new hub this afternoon: http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-striptease
The ads setting is set to high but there are no ads showig. Any ideas why and how to solve it?
LOL I guess you have to work on wording
Not that I ever tried, but there are rumors circulating around that Google would suspend their ads on adult content. I bet you are affected by this...
It is because google stops showing ads in pages that they suspect to be adult content. That can be due to title, tags, pics or even the text content within our hubs. Keep this in mind whenever u make new hubs. I hope this helps you.
Google does not serve ads on such content, not even those Dating Sites (Black Women, Russian and all those) , I`ve had an article on 'facts about masturbation' and they weren`t delivering any ads.
PS. I can see ads on your hub. I don`t know for how long. They might stay there thou.
Hi Alex, funny you see ads; is that in Rumania?
May be ads are shown in some data centers and not served in other parts of the world?!
This is the Right time for you to close this topic..
Now I am viewing ads in your Striptease hubpage...
Nice to hear you can see the ads. I am still have no ads here. I have checked everything, it is the only hub that has no adds, so probably Misha and dingdong are right ... ups!
Ohh I can , and they are quite interesting as well.
You can leave your hat on !
no ads google is more strict with HUBPAGES....most sort of adult and picture galleries are not getting ads.
Thanks guys. Funny Rumania and India being the only ones who get the ads I still think the content is not "adult content" there is no nudity or explicit language. Earlier in the day I had also lost my ads in a couple of other hubs
Ads gone, now Google definitely made up it`s mind.
I think people should not publish any adult material articles at all, as they are not delivering ads, not even woman issues or sex problems and so on. I have experience this issue before. Have you mailed Hubpages, they might be blocking some URL`s and type of ads, and that might be the reason for them not showing up.
If you search hubpages for xxxx, you'll notice most hubs do not have ads. The problem (or the solution to others) may just be here at hubpages.

I have a hub about homosexuality in monarch butterflies with ads for books on Amazon about homosexuality in animals, however, ads have been disabled and in the warning why details it says: "Because this Hub was identified manually, and not through our automatic filter, this status will not...

Now don't get me wrong, I totally love writing on Hubpages and being a part of the Hubbing community, but I have lost a little heart recently when one hub of mine on "How to Improve Male Fertility" had the ads disabled based on automatic filters. This problem I reported in order to have...

I think it is related to images being used for the HUB ads and Google ads. When I turned off the Hub ads my adsense revenue rose significantly. I think it is because the block of adsense ads to the right of the column of text below the title returned to text based rather than image based. I think...

I wrote a hub about the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile after my family saw it in person. Now I get a notice saying that it is possibly going to be unpublished due to adult content. I can't find any adult content at all--this hub is just fun and history. Can you see what is wrong with...
