The Greatest Hub Comment of All Time..

   Well, I have to share this because, in over three years at HubPages, this is the best comment I have ever received based on pure joy and hilarity. Everything that this guy is having a cow about, I did actually say in the hub (it's a cat spoof about cats loving us more than dogs), but the dude does not get sarcasm or humor, so he took everything seriously. That means, I lol'ed. (For your reference, I am the "ignorant being" mentioned in the comment below.)

      Well, it's sad in that somewhere out there some guy was having a spasm that someone could be as "stupid" as he expects is required to believe the stuff I wrote. I can only hope that he is kidding and tossing some fuel on the fun fire. Without that plausible seed, there is reason to fear the end of humanity is in view (given that our own good nature stands in the way of evolution these days, if the evidence presented counts).
      
      Stacie, THAT is a fantastic idea. I may have to do it, and send him an email so he doesn't miss out on the opportunity for indignity and outrage!

         The funnier part is Shadesbreath is when you're attempting to be serious, you're still funny. Your uncanny ability to speak and your knowledge of humans, makes almost everything you say quite funny.
         
         However, even with that said, I understand what you're saying. It's easy to see how humanity's end could be coming with the amount of "stupid" out there. But, on the bright side- "f**k'em if they cannot take a joke".

   I got an asinine comment I guess it was about a year ago. Some religionist used my hub to go on a rant against gays. The hub itself had nothing to do with religion, politics, gays, or anything even remotely similar. The one-track mind can be a frightening thing...

      Hah, I love those people who are reflexively religious. I've gotten some sweet comments on gay rights satire, where they clearly didn't read it so they prove how hateful they actually are. Good stuff.
