Hello. This was my first hub and based on a very personal experience. I dont understand how it can be edited in any way, it does'nt have any researched facts or stats, its just a feeling. How do I tell them that its nothing duplicate....
If you have not published this hub on any other site, e mail the team at hubpages and tell them
You may want to read the FAQ's ..purely personal content is also not acceptable at HP
read this and the whole section below it to understand what is wrong with your hub. http://hubpages.com/faq/#what_is_allowed
You can generalize your personal experience and talk about how to handle such situations or make it generally useful to others so that your hub is not moderated for being substandard or purely personal.
As sofs mentioned, a hub that is purely personal and judged to be of no interest to anyone except your family and people who know you will be unpublished.
Hey. Thanks guys for taking the time. Well no, it hasnt been rejected due topurely personal content, its not that kind, its more of an inspiration, and everybody can learn from it. It was published initially, but was unpublished asking me to make some changes in it and apply for republishing cuz they say its content matches other pages on this site. I do believe there may be her hubs of a similar nature in some way, but i dont see ho i can make changes o this one. Would it be considered if i apply for publishing again as is....?
It's already published here: http://chillibreeze.in/rate-articles-ge … needed-it/
Basically, duplicate content is reposting material (even if you own the rights to it) that has previously been posted anywhere else on the internet.
The only way you could post that hub again is if you take down the original copy and wait for it to be cleared from the Google cache.
oh ok...alright. I dint think it could be a problem if it were posted there too. thanks a tonne... i get it now
That was a really cool story (I read it at the other site that someone posted) very inspiring! You're a really good writer, it would be cool to see some of your stuff here on HubPages (so I can comment on it and rate it up .)
The rule is one site per article (because of how Google handles things.) It's a bummer, but you're a fantastic writer so I'm sure you've got a ton of great stuff that you've not yet gotten onto paper... err text field.
I can't wait to read your next hub!
If you need any help getting started, check out the learning center... it always helps me out when I'm unsure of something!

Why does my hub keep saying it is a duplicate? It is my work. I even made many changes many times.I deleted it, rewrote it and tried to publish it again, after having made many changes. Still it says duplicate. It should not say this. It is my work.

Is there anyway that a feature can be added to Hubpages that identifies where in a hub it thinks there is an instance of duplication.I recently published a hub which was identified as duplicate, I spent hours researching the topic and typing it up, once published in hub pages it was flagged as...

I would appreciate if Staff would tell me whether GamerGirl and Whitney, both of whom have chosen to crawl through all my output (output which staff courteously restored after I had totally deleted it on my sabbatical) and repetitively downthumb and flag me, have been assigned by staff as my...

Why those of us moving over from Squidoo should not try to transfer our lenses to HubPages manually:I just moved one of my recipes that's fairly new, and doesn't have a high search engine ranking, thinking I would use it as a way to become familiar with the HubPages tools. I deleted the Squidoo...

Got a bunch of duplicate content warnings and I am not sure if Hubpages found duplicate content in my Hubs or on the web. If Hubpages finds duplicate content, how hard is it for them to share with us where they found it and what exactly they found? It sure would save and lot of time and...

Over the past couple of months I've been slowly reorganizing my content by niche. This means moving Hubs from one subdomain to another, as well as moving content from elsewhere on the web to HubPages. More often than not, each time I try to move a Hub I trigger the darn duplicate content...
