Hub Love Needed Today

   Hello Hubber friends,
   My son (19) is having a surgical procedure today.
   We have traveled about 2 hours out of town to have this done.
   Hoping for some answers as to what has been causing him SOOO much pain.
   
   This community is a huge support for me (and others).
   I appreciate any/all good wishes, words of encouragement, and prayers.
   
   Hope to log back on tonight with GOOD NEWS.

      From the deepest of my heart I hope nothing but best for your son. Being a mother is the hardest profession but the most fulfilling. Be strong all problems has it's answer.

   Thinking of you all. Even though at 19 they are technically an adult, you worry about them as if they were babies. Hope to get the good news soon.

      As my mom says to me, for as long as she is here, I will always be her baby. No matter how old our kids get, they are still our babies, in the best of ways.

   I'll be thinking of you and yours, MM.  A hurting child, whatever their age, is a very real hurt to the parents as well - I sure hope they find what it is and can fix it.  Please keep us posted?

    The fact that you are there with him will make a tremendous difference. No matter what age a mother's support in trying times is the best support there is. Hope all goes well and trust that the operation will be successful in getting rid of whatever is causing the pain.

    What a nice feeling to log on this morning and see new posts to this week+ old thread.
    Good timing, too.
    I didn't really talk about the results of the procedure.
    Nothing to say -- they found nothing physical to explain his pain.
    Not only that, but they LOST HIS BLADDER BIOPSY RESULTS.
    Yes, there will be a hub on this whole frustrating journey... it's in process.
    
    Meantime, my son and I travel today to Sonoma. That is the lovely wine valley next to the famous Napa Valley. No, we are not going to drink wine!!
    We are going to meet with a highly recommended urologist. This is his intake appt in preparation for a clinic he has been accepted into later this month.
    
    As it turns out, we DID get answers during our last trip. They just did not come in the form I expected. But more on that later.
    
    Anyway, friends, thank you all SO MUCH for your support and kind words.
    I will carry you all with me today.
