   There used to be an old song with the chorus:
   
   *Happiness is
   (Happiness is)
   Happiness is
   (Happiness is)
   Happiness is
   (Happiness is)
   Different things to different people
   That's what happiness is
   Happiness is!

   It is kind'a a '70's campfire thang...but I thought it might be a fun and positive thing to join in on. (Maybe someone has done this topic on the forums before?)
   
   Here goes mine:
   
   Happiness is...a cool breeze during a day at the beach.
               ...catching a big fish on a quiet cove.
               ...the last stroke of the paint brush when painting your house.
               ...having grandkids.
               ...a huge glass of ice tea on a shady porch.
               ...putting the last bolt in and having it be the right one while
                  putting together any type of "easy to assemble" product.
               ...finding the perfect affordable neighborhood restaurant.
               ...getting change back after dropping down a twenty dollar bill.
               And...laughing at something hilarious when you don't feel good!
   
   And that's what Happiness is!

      Wow!  Manlypoet, I'm a big fan of yours.  Those things that make you happy are so cool.
      
      Here is mine...
      
      ***Happiness is waking up in the morning... wow! I'm still alive and healthy to boot.  So far so good.
      
      ***Happiness is watching my kids grow to adulthood... normal.  A big plus!
      
      ***Happiness is making people smile and laugh... I love making people laugh.. it's music to my ears.
      
      ***Happiness is being in love and being loved in return. 
      
      ***Happiness is having a rose garden, even just in cyberspace.
      
      ***Happiness is being content with what I am and what I have become.. not too bad, if I may say so myself.
      
      ***Happiness is earning money writing.. that is a pleasant surprise indeed!
      
      ***Happiness is laughing out loud... little things make me laugh.  Some people think that's weird.. heck, my kids think I'm weird.
      
      ***Happiness is singing and dancing in the rain... nekkid!

   Wow. It certainly looks as if it takes a lot to make you happy. I was thinking about a pack of nabs and a Pepsi.

         Oh my gosh. You've never heard of nabs? They were the most perfect snack food ever invented. Little cheese crackers with a peanut butter stuffing. Do not be fooled by cheap imitations. Lance is the only way to go. If there were only one food I could take forward with me for the rest of my life, it would have to be nabs. I've eaten them since we moved to the states. That was years ago, but they still taste just as good as the first pack.
