Congratulations and well done. I am in fact dancing with you, but without using my legs. This is weird I know, but is carried over from another thread. Anyways, CONGRATULATIONS
Congrats! Hope to be saying that too very soon...See you on teh success page:-)
Thanks...yippee! With all the ups and downs, I thought I would never make it!
Thanks, Melpor. You were one of the first hubbers who talked to me (nicely!) on HP, THANKS!
Nice. Congratulations. Here's to many more hundreds coming your way.
Well, for $100 I think all I can afford is a keg of beer to share, but hey, that's something!
How long did it take you? I'm a new Hubber and want to get an idea of a time line before this starts to snowball!
I wrote my first hub on January 11, 2011. Actually even though that sounds like a long time, a lot of hubbers told me it took them a year or more to get their first pay-out, so I feel lucky especially since I got dinged by Google a couple of times in the last couple of months
Considering that google has been more than a little cruel to hubbers ever since Panda 1, I doubt luck has much to do with it. Maybe it's good writing?? And/or hard work?? Methinks so...
Thanks for the information. Now to set some goals :-)
Well done, but do I not remember a post when you where going to leave what you you like a lot of other thought was a sinking ship.?
You are so right, Lyndre. I absolutely was about to give up the ghost. And I still stand firm on the fact that HP needs to change some of their methods for allowing new writers to publish here to make it a better site and to gain more respect for us with Google. The only thing that's kept me here are the writers...the community here. And honestly, the money's nice, but hey, two tanks of gas and it's gone, right!?
I like the fact that I get fan mail from brides who say I've helped them in some way...that makes my day!
Well done DIY. It took me about 9 months too, but with a lot more hubs.
Let's hope so, Randy! And I hope your traffic comes back soon!
Still standing in the corner at this point, DIY. After making monthly Adsense payout every month--often in the first week or so-- for over a year and a half, I failed to do so last month and October seems even worse so far.
Google giveth and Google taketh away. But I'm still glad for yours and others success.
Congratulations! The next one will come even quicker. You'll see.
Hope you're right, Glenn (busily making Christmas list) !
now you can finally afford to hang around with all us rich cyber beeyotches! congratulations! (say, can you spare a couple washingtons? I need to buy doughnuts! really. I NEEED to buy doughnuts!)

I just received an email from Paypal saying I had received a payment from Hub Pages. I have been in AdSense for 10 months and finally reached my first payout...happy days! Now, I am looking forward to my next and see if I can make it happen sooner.

After almost two years I've made my first 100. I'm excited because for about a year i didn't publish any hubs. Then again I think about how much more I would have had if I would have kept a steady pace of hub publishing. I've decided to try to pick it back up. I hope to at least publish one hub a...

No, I haven't yet made my AdSense payout (though I'm getting there), but I've had a really good Amazon month, so between the two of them, I've finally reached triple digits in sales! It's not enough to live on -- yet -- but for me, $100 is a big milestone, especially since I've earned more than half...

I was surprised to see i had a 100 followers today when i returned home from work, i do not know how that jumped to this figure so quickly, i have been keeping quite a low profile this time..... I am kind of learning how to survive on hub pages..... And hoping to stay around with this name for a...
