Hi I'm new to hubpages. Can someone tell me whether I can influence the topic of the ads displayed on my hubs?
You can pick the ads for Amazon and eBay, but for Google and Kontera, its using there coding to decide.
It takes a few horus for the ads to appear relevant: sexy indian girls seems to be the default setting at the moment LOL ! Oh and welcome from Perth: I liked Darwin - bit too humid at times though. I am also a dancer so I am looking forward to some more of your hubs: got any advice for a flat-footed ballroom dancer who needs to improve her foot strength and ability to balance on the balls of her feet?
BTW its legit to put your website in your profile - add it in your profile link and then for "from" the answer is Darwin, Australia :-)
Hi Lissie - I've been to Perth - great place. Thanks for the tips. Sure do have some tips. I'm not far from finishing a book on building stronger, better balanced ankles, and there'll be heaps in there for foot strength - so watch my blog.
Ooh, hi there - another dancer who will be reading your Hubs with interest (I'm from Sydney). At fifty plus, I'm still determined to keep dancing but my knees are shot and my ankle has just started doing something very strange - like I've strained my Achilles but on the outer side of the ankle - I have a feeling I'll be off to see my trusty physio again next week!

What can a hubber do to ensure that only relevant ads appear on his/her profile and hubs?I've been on Hubpages for about 14 months now, and I notice that almost all the ads that appear on my profile and hubs are totally unrelated to the content on the page. I've looked for resources on how to make...

I have a big concern about the ads coming up on my hubs and profile. They are almost pornographic. I make an effort to keep my writing respectful and suitable for all ages, and many pieces are spiritual in nature. The ads are for a dating site, it appears, and feature closeups of a woman's body, in...

How do I get relevant ads posted on my hubs? How do I get relevant ads on my hubs?! I can't seem to figure it out. I get ads that have nothing to do with what I'm trying to write about. Is there something I'm missing?

Over the last week the traffic to one of my hubs The Animal Planet Mermaid Hoax dramatically increased. It went from less than a hundred hits a week to nearly 7,000 hits in one week! My other mermaid hubs also had an increase in traffic but nearly as much. The reason for this, is the...

Are Amazon and E-Bay Ads no longer permissible on the new Niche Sites, I have not seen any and I keep on hearing that Ads have been snipped from Hubs before articles were moved. If so, is the pay structure identical to that on the Mother Site?
