    Is it possible to have a feature installed on Hubbers profile pages where readers could make a donation to the author directly because they enjoyed thier hubs?

    Donations mind you, not required payments for access to the profile page.

    Just a little message "If you would like to submit a cash donation to the author you may do so here..."

      Just put a P.O. box number on your profile and ask for donations.

        If it comes from the site it would (IMO) work better. That way they are asking for the contribution on behalf of the author.

        The author asking for the contribution comes across as begging. (which is the problem the youtube site had.)

    Looks a bit like E-Begging then lol Lots of Youtube channels became like that with the PayPal donation button and it had negative affects. Wouldn't want Hubpages to be labelled as such.
