I joined HP in February and the ad program was turned on April 20. Since then the money has trickled a bit but this month has been the best yet. Traffic has tripled and so have the coins...lol

Same with me.  It's picking up quick.  Of course I am still talking candy bar money at this point.  But the coins have jumped a lot within the last week when I started to write more often and with good quality stuff.  Well, I am going to go write one more hub tonight.

Congrats...I hope the coins continue to climb. I am halfway on my way to collecting my first check.

The money I've made with Hubpage ads has doubled this month. The money with Google Adsense has gone down. I'm shocked, but I'm making money with eBay too. I was never able to do that with Amazon.

my traffic and hub ad earnings have picked up.  My google is way down.  Hardly made anything with amazon.  I've just put first ebay capsules in.

Ebay and Amazon aren't making zilch for me either. Adsense is picking up too especially since I opened another HP account. I get more clicks over there.

I don't seem to write the topics that people want to click on ads. Guess that's because I write only what interests me, not necessarily what gets lots of traffic

I wasn't thinking of traffic when I wrote those hubs and they don't get as much traffic as this account. I have 4 hubs on cancer, 2 on anatomy, 1 weekly inspiration on car safety, 2 personal development and 1 about Elance. I wish I knew which hubs were getting the clicks. Analytics only show which site the click are coming from but not the page.

If you set up separate URL channels for each hub you could see that on Google Analytics.  I have a 200 hub limit on channels, so I only have 2/3 of mine set up that way.

I'd guess cancer would be popular out of that list

Hubpages can be like the stock marked.  Leave you articles and let them marinate, they will produce, be patient.

They were all poetry so I moved them to my poetry blog. I think I am going to stick to articles and short stories here and post my poetry there.

  8. IzzyM profile image88

That was the experience of experienced hubbers when I joined.

Basically, write good hubs and the traffic will come, slowly but surely.

    And it did, really slowly.

Then Panda hit, took a huge knock but my hubs climbed again, then on august 10 they took another hit, from which they have not recovered.

So, beware, SOME people seem to continue to do well here, and others not.

Congrats while it lasts, Cardisa smile

Izzy, hang in there. Mine took a deep dive in August too. I think yours will pick up again.
