Yeah - I made it - its taken 14 months but Adsense now owes me $102.17 and having reached the $100 threshold will pay out this month :-) :-o Yeah!
I first put Adsense on my own site /blog in Feb 07. In Sept 07 I joined Hubpages and to date my hubpage Adsens earnings have equated to >50% of my Adsense earnings - though it is fair to say I have been neglecting my own sites for the fun of hubpages!
Are you serious!! I would have given up long ago. At least the Aussie exchange rate to the US dollar according to my payout is now 1.08 recurring.
Lissie! Congrats and and No congrats! 14 months Lissie! and 102 a princely sum of $7 per months... not even a cup of Coffe dear. Is it what you deserve?
I am happy if you are happy Congrats Dear!
Lissie, congratulation for joining the First Payment Club. I am now in the Monthly Payment Club and targeting UPS Club. This hub may help you expand your view about make more money online.
Thanks for your kind wishes - I must admit I started to wonder if it would happen! I wonder if I can get the next $100 in less than a year ?
Congratulations, Lissie! The first Adsense check is so exciting!
Lissie good for you. That gave you an hourly wage of ???? Isn't it funny that that really doesn't even matter.
Make sure you invest your earnings wisely....regards Zsuzsy
Congratulations Lissie!!! such great news. You did it woohoo!!!!
That's great, Lissie! A well-deserved check, for sure.
congrats lissie! its really great news to get a payment from adsense..
I found that once I got the first payout the rest seemed to happen quicker!!
Congratulations Lissie . I bet, lets say 100$ , your next one will come sooner than you expect .
So what fraction of a penny per hour would that divide to? ahhhaaahahhaaaa. Serviously, congrats....we all know here that it's a labor of love.
Congrats Lissie. Only the first check takes longer. The following ones will reach you faster
PS : So, when is the party
Agrees with SunSeven. It took several months for my first check, and I've been receiving them monthly for about 3 months now. Definitely keep at it!
Lissie, congrats on the 1st check!
I remember that feeling and can compare it to receiving PIN only That just can't be forgotten cuz it took months to arrive!
I'm sure ur second check from AdSense will come THIS year!
BTW, can't you apply for EFT instead of mail payments?..
It looks like I must have applied and got that set up already in my early optimistic days! Its a shame they don't pay via paypal - that way I could keep in US$ as I have something I want to buy in US$ anyway. Anyway I don't care really!
To all who asked regarding the hourly rate - I don't think we really should go there! Though I have earned significantly more via HP flagship hub payments and significantly less from Amazon and EBAy!
But at the risk of sounding unbelievably soppy the biggest thing Ive gained is an audience - I mean over 200 of you are my fans ROTFL! People actually comment on my hubs - which they never do on my other sites- that is priceless because it gives me confidence that what I am doing is worthwhile for someone else!
Lissie, my second Adsense check was issued the very next month after the first one. And after that I did not miss any single month. I wish you the same
Congrats Lissie, i just got mine last month and now looking forward for my next payment, maybe in May.....i hope .....
Well done....keep up the good work...
I've just started out using hubpage. Still learning... hopefully will get to the $100 mark by end of the year
Well done Lissie! I've only just cracked the $50 mark myself, but I earned almost nothing for the first few months, so I'm pretty confident it won't take me another 6 months to reach the $100 mark!
I hope you're going to treat yourself with some of the money as you've certainly worked hard for it.
I will surely beat you, now i have completed more than 11 months and pushing so hard i think i can surely beat you and take the record of that 14 months from you, i will be holding the record for taking so long to achieve that 100 mark;-) congratulations, well done please wish me also to write a post like that, Misha don't restrict the wishes to lissa alone include me also. well done Lissie, thats what is persistence is. good luck.
what are you going to spend it on? I think you should mark the occasion.
Congratulations. Give me a Treat For Reaching this achievement. (Just for fun).
Lissie, Lottery winners often tell us that don't think their new-found wealth will change them. I trust that your move into the jet set, rubbing shoulders with Clooney and Co, won't have a regrettable effect on you?
14 months, eh? I've managed $14 in three months, so I'm a bit behind your rate of progress. However, I recently "acquired" $0.93 for a single click, so I must have some decent ads in there somewhere. I only wish I knew which one it was, so that I could write more hubs that attracted the same high-value ads!
Indexer aren't you tracking your hubs in Adsense - you can set up "custom url channels" and track up to 200 different urls - ie 200 hubs. Its very interesting the ones that make you money are not necessarily the ones with the most traffic!
Lissie, Thanks for the tip. I'll have a go at what you suggest.
Very, very true. And without any sort of tracking vehicle, it's like driving without a map. It's very surprising to learn which Hubs are moneymakers.
Congratulations Lillie! I am sure they will start coming in faster all the time.
Yes I've seen Gregs hub before - its a good read - now I am sorry but I am off to bed is 12:30am and I have been fighting all over the internet !

I was lucky today and hit my first adsense payout by going over a hundred dollars, more than 20K Views and just reached 318 followers. It all seems good.Wanted to share and say thanks to my followers and for all the support and encouragement I have gotten to this point from all the...

I'm so excited! My Adsense has finally reached $100 after two years! Yey! I better write more hubs if I want my next payout in less than two years, huh? Hehe!

So at the end of this month, I'll get $111.36 transferred to my bank account It would've probably happened sooner if I had written more Hubs, but I got out of the habit of writing them, even though I frequently pop in on my adsense account to see a couple bucks made every so often. How long did it...

I'm happy to report that I reached this milestone! It was not a click, but rather a few extra cents made from impressions that pushed me over the barrier. So maybe I won't complain about pennies made from impressions in the future. This is a nice feeling!

It's been a little over 2 weeks for me on the new HP Ad Program and I've reached payout. I'm really glad to see this because my Google revenue has taken a major nosedive. Thanks HP!!Hang in there hubbers!!

It took three months, I guess that's not bad! Now if I could just meet that threshold every month I'd be thrilled.Today's my wedding anniversary, so this is a nice "gift"!
