It'll take a few months. You joined 6 weeks ago only. It'll take some time. It doesn't depends on how many articles you've published. It depends on popularity or traffic, I guess. Google will take some time to recognize your page. If you are active on your account then it'll get a rank soon. smile

Thanks for the clarification. I wont do anything to promote my hubs till I get to 50 lets see how it goes till then. If it goes well I won't promote at all as I don't want to waste time doing that

lol...... The fact is I'm here almost from a year. I'll complete 1 year here on 22nd of this month. So, you can understand, it takes time. And for promotion you can simply add link at facebook or tweet your hub as soon as you publish it. It doesn't take much of time. But if you want to do experiment then that's okay.. smile

I wouldn't worry so much about Pagerank. I haven't noticed a change in earnings or traffic despite going from a 2, to a 4. Although I suppose it's something of a figurative thumbs up from Google.

A page rank of 0 is better than NA (unranked).  Google is taking notice of your subdomain, keep doing what you're doing and it should improve.

It does not matter too much - just write, comment on other hubs and get some links from outside hubpages and over time your page rank will increase - every action you take on hubpages provides you with a backlink.. it is backlinks that will increase your rank..

Don't get hung up on it..

What is displayed is also not necessarily how Google thinks of you today - it is only what G thought of you the last time it updated public rankings - zero is good, better than N/A.. and thoogun's 4 is very high for here on HP..

If you really want to know more just use the search box top right and look for hubs about backlinks and Pagerank..

And; last piece of advice - don't wait before promoting your hubs - do it!!
