I'm probably going to curse myself, but after a six to eight week (august 23 through October 18) period where I saw a pattern of 4-5 day surge, 1 week plunge I'm seeing very steady traffic - it's been steady for the last 3 weeks (since October 19)...
Anyone other surge and plungers seeing the same?
SimeyC, I am probably jinxing myself, but things have stabilized on this end - at least no more recent plunges. Of course, as soon as I hit "submit" on this post, I'll probably plunge!
After the early Sept. drop, I didn't see much increase until about a week to a week and a half ago...was back up to pre-panda levels for about a week, and dropped again this weekend. Just waiting it out. There's one particular hub that cues me in, ranks on first place during my small surges, goes away into oblivion during the plunges, but stays on page one of other search engines. Not worth stressing over at this point.
The surge/plunge is affecting me. About four weeks ago, my traffic was nearly three times what it is today (after a phenomenal recovery from the initial Panda). This has been a progression starting a month ago, each day, each week, showing less and less traffic despite continuing to publish hubs.
Crazy-making.

After two weeks of steady increase in traffic views, my traffic views are plunging today. It is like the stock market, taking weeks to crawl up slowly and then plunging overnight. Once it hits rock bottom, it will be another steady ride upwards.

Today my HP traffic was the highest ever - WAY higher than it was pre-Panda. Since the switch to sub-domains, my traffic and earnings have steadily climbed. What I want to know is:Is this likely to last? Why is it happening?Just because I've endured some Google algorithm updates, am I likely to...

I'm curious to see how long I can expect to be in the depths of Google's sandbox.I've noticed that people rise and fall in waves, depending on when you switched over to the subdomains, so I want to get a general idea as to how long most people are stuck in the sandbox. For me, the climb was slow at...

I know! It happens often, but I have been riding a high for over a year now on my Articles. Over the past week though, I see dozens of the dreaded "down arrows".Can anyone tell me what is going on this time?

By "the plunge", I mean specifically mean suddenly losing over 80% of traffic during the period from the 10th August* up until the present (technically speaking, it's the google traffic that goes, of course, incoming traffic from links is unaffected).By "recovered" I mean...

The graph above shows my traffic for the last year. generally it was on a downward turn (due to niches getting old) - I did lose a fair bit of traffic due to Panda - but the biggest swings for me have come after the subdomain switch.I've had for distinct surges and four distinct plunges (the grpah...
