I kept the subject pretty vague as i did not know exactly where i should place it. But basically i am writing this to say i think a new contest would be great for us hubbers and for hubpages. When the Do it yourself contest came out, i'm pretty sure that generated a good amount of hubs, and would have helped hubbers, and Hubpages. So why not... Not saying you should follow similar guidelines or anything, but it would be fun to have another similar contest or competition on here.
I second that and I am sure down the road they will.
There seems to be a new contest every two or three months - so I'd expect to see one in February or March perhaps!? Pretty please?!
cash prizes that can be deposited right into my PayPal account?
We'll actually be disbursing contest winnings via the HubPages Earnings Program now.
The challenge, of course, will be winning those prizes to begin with.
My hubs are far too deep and complex to be understood by this generation. Decades will have to pass before their true value to humanity will be understood.
In the future, scholars will dissect each line and paragraph and herald me as the new Shakespeare... or more accurately, they will call Shakespeare the first Greek One.
Which is very ironic, for when I was a teenager, I used to spend hours shaking my spear alone in the bathroom.
Mel, I have it on good grounds that he stand up when he writIng his funny stuff for HP.
I read a few of his stuff yesterday and almost choked with laughter.
have I won this contest yet?
I keep checking my PayPal, but nothing has been received

Does it suffice to publish a hub on the topic of a contest during the contest? Example: It is the first day of the recipe contest. I just published my first recipe. Is my recipe hub automatically entered in the contest or is some other action required on my part?
